    I wouldn’t walk away from a pile I was making, it becomes free for anyone to swipe. He probably thought, if someone wants it, it must be valuable.

    9:45 love that radio. I used to work in a watch tower and went through two of them over 13 years. Great for listening to ball games and some music. $9.99 is what I paid for them at Sears back in the early 2000's.

    One time I saw a pretty rare PS1 game and asked the seller about it. The guy went to ask his wife and she grabbed it right out of my hands and said "oh that's not supposed to be out. We're gonna put it on ebay". From that point on I just keep on walking when I see their tables. Never gonna get a red cent out of me again.

    I didn’t see any keys in that comic book lot, but you should at least be able to get your money back. People always want vintage Spider-Man.

    • @pickingandpunching
      @pickingandpunching  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There weren’t any major keys but a lot of decent $10 or so books. I’ll put them in small lots. I probably over paid on the lot. I’ll pull a couple out for my PC too.

    I've had that happen to me. It's so frustrating! Especially when I find something really good. But what can you do..... until money is exchanged, it's theirs and they can change their mind. Just don't be sneaky about it. 🤣

    • @pickingandpunching

    That has not happened to me, but I did stop a guy who was buying little things from several vendors, giving them 20s and when he tried to buy a $2 item

    I love how half of these sellers seem pissed off that you’re trying to buy from them. I rarely have interactions like that in my neck of the woods. Makes me wonder what’s got them in such a bad mood.

    • @pickingandpunching
      @pickingandpunching  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I go there a lot and 95% of the sellers are always friendly and give great deals. We are in Florida and it’s super hot at the Flea Market. We are talking 90+ degrees. That plays a lot into it especially when you are out there for 4-6 hours in that heat.

    You’ll be lucky to get your money back on those comics. It’s tough to say no when you see a couple minor keys, but he got you on those. Always look at the bottom number when pricing the books out, because more than likely that’s what the value of them really are especially in raw, without bags and boards.

    • @pickingandpunching
      @pickingandpunching  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea, you are right. I def over paid. I saw some good books like 3rd appearance of Bullseye and a handful of other $10 books. I’ll end up putting them in mini lots and sell them off. I was hoping there would have been something bigger in there.

    I have had it done and have seen it done many many times over the years even with me doing it a few times going to set up at a antique show or flea market and always seems to have someone dig something out of a box or bag under the table or back of the car lol once I bought out a estate ended up with some real bangers including a civil war tin type photo album well I had it sitting on the seat of the car and two guys actually opened my van door and pulled it and a bunch of other items out and I was busy with other people until someone pointed it out to me and they had the nerve to get mad 😡 at me because that stuff wasn’t for-sale “there anyway” and I declined there offer of $200 lol 😂 shoot I sold one of the photos well actually two of them for $1k one was of a named solider in full uniform during the civil war and other was of the same soldier after the civil war in full uniform but missing his arm from a gun shot.
    Anyway he should have said something to you that he was playing take-backs lol instead of you looking around like WTF where did my thing go because I would have thought 💭 another buyer poached it lol.
    Thanks bro

      That’s a crazy story about the people taking stuff from your car. Thats where I would have drawn the line. I once had a garage sale at a friends house. I brought out a box of video games that weren’t for sale. So I put it back in the garage. Someone went into the garage started digging through the owners personal items. They Pulled out games. Then they got mad at me for not selling them.

    unfortunately these videos include maybe 5 min of actual content that one would find valuable. Sure would be nice if sourcing made up 90% of the videos vs. 90% being worthless now.

    • @pickingandpunching
      @pickingandpunching  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Picking videos are more than just picking. They are the real life interactions with people, negotiating, sourcing, and entertainment.
      To be honest, you guys miss out on 90% of most pickers sourcing. We go to so many houses, flea markets, sales, etc without finding much stuff. If you are looking for more education to learn. I would focus on watching Flipping videos. I have a second channel called Flipping and Punching. Where we show you what sold and focus about talking about the business. Shed flips and commonwealth flipper are also great flipper channels for education. Thanks for watching.

    I’m confused why people get upset about this situation. This is not your property until you purchase it and make a deal. He can say nothing that he owns and has out is for sale if he wants lol. Now if you had already paid for it and then he started taking things that’s a different story. But this stuff isn’t your property people can do literally whatever they want it’s THEIR stuff lol. It’s so odd to me that folks get all bent out of shape or weirded out when people do things with their own property lmao. He can be ninja sneaky it’s his friggin shit lol

      I agree with you. It's their stuff until I buy it. They have to the right to do whatever they want with it. I even said that in the video. It was just a weird situation. Why wait for me to turn my back to take the stuff out? Just say you it's not for sale. No need to be sneaky about it.

      It's called communication and common curtesy . If had said , I want to keep this item then everything would have been ok .
