Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy (Case-Friendly)

  • Flexible, case-compatible but most importantly, made for the infinity screen.
Unlike glass, Neo Flex is made of a flexible layer made to stay adaptable to any screen surface. So the latest infinity screen with its curved edges? Not a problem. Simply apply it on wet with a case and voila.
Have Neo Flex take the hit, not your phone.

I just applied this yesterday and while it's not as good as GLAStR Curved Tempered Glass....it's better than nothing. It was also easy to apply following the techniques below.
My suggestions for improving the technique seen in this video.
    1. To avoid fingerprints, wear laboratory type disposable gloves.
    2. Take the phone out of the case so that you can properly scrape the cover slip over the edges of the phone.
    3. Don't overcoat the cover slip with the spray as seen in this video. First test out the spay stream to see how far away the fine mist is generated. (it's a crude spray nozzle that does not emit an even fine mist). Then hold the cover slip at a distance to only capture the fine mist.
    4. After placing the cover on the phone and aligning it...again only spay a fine mist over the top cover.
    5. You don't need to draw an imaginary line with the scraper. Simply start in the middle with the scrapper and scrape outwards towards the edges. Work from the middle out towards the edges. DON'T USE TOO MUCH PRESSURE during scrapping.
    6. Once the NeoFlex film is snuggly secured, wipe over it starting in the middle and out towards the edges with a dry blue paper towel or felt dry cloth. Lay the phone down and allow it to dry for at least 30 minutes.
    7. Give it about 3 hours for the clarity to become 100%.
I'm not sure why Spigen didn't make a GLAStR Curved Tempered Glass for the S 20+, however the NeoFlex is better than no protection and the clarity and screen touch sensitivity are as good as if I had no cover on it.

Hello.. Im about to purchase this product for Huawei P30 Pro. You said the clarity of this protector is good, is there any degradation on color quality or color reproducing?
Im afraid of the screen protector will make the quality of the screen reduced in terms of clarity, sharpness and color

      @@radite2177 Hi Radite,
I've not experienced any color degradation on color quality or color reproducing.
The good thing about this screen protector is if bubbles start to appear weeks later due to not properly applying it...you can lift the edge until you reach the bubbles and smooth it back down without having to respray it.

Just applied this screen protector on my S9... and no problems here... you do have to apply it on with a the case over the phone in order for it to work properly (i used a spigen tough armor case)... follow this video to the tee like i did... the only thing different i did was wait 2hrs... then use the phone till it heats up... like 1440 at 60fps videos...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and the finished product was astounding... even took out the micro scratches all over the screen... dont know why people are having problems with the application... cuz this was my first time applying this type of screen protector... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to apply the squeegee gently. It's completely normal for some white spots to remain after applying the screen, and it needs some sort of 1-2 day curing process. After 1 week, the screen no longer feels soft and rubbery.

Sadly, there are many complexities to the matter. The rigid nature of the glass is not only incompatible with curved edges but every phone screen is slightly different in every device so not universally compatible. However, despite the choas, we're currently testing to create the right one so we hope to see you in our social media channels for updates!

I could not be more disapointed. After 3 days I have removed the protector due to the lack of clarity the protector has, the orange peel effect and all the micro scratches it has picked up in a short space of time.

    Moto X4 with Springer Case
First time I try to apply/install a screen protector. I tried to follow the instructions, but this thing is simply difficult to install.
This was an absolute disaster; it was quite difficult from the beginning. I think some written instructions would help a lot.
For some reason when I tried to clean the screen with the supplied cloth, there was some kind of dust all over the screen, which seemed some kind of residual stuff from the clothe (the phone is brand new, I removed the new plastic cover for the first time). I applied lens cleaner and it was much better.
Then I think I saw some kind of particle on the sticky side of the protector so I tried to remove it with one of the dust removers (stickers) they provide; I made a mess, the protector immediately got a dirty appearance and I left some fingerprints all over the glue on the protector.
I continued to install the protector, it didn’t look that bad, pretty much no bubbles, but the places where I left my fingerprints were quite evident (some dirty appearance).
There was a spot where I felt some kind particle under the protector, I couldn’t remove even with Silicone squeeze. Then I decided to remove the protector and give it a second try. This time the results where hideous, lots of bubbles, dirty appearance everywhere, bumps. I think I even left some mark (scratch) with the Silicone squeeze (the fabric on one side of the squeeze got worn out).
I will wait for the results until tomorrow, but I highly doubt it will look good.

I did everything they did in this video except I did not put it in a case first. I just got my new S9+ so I left protector on back and didn't take original plastic protector off front until I was ready to apply the neo flex protector. So far its been 12 hours, all small bubbles have disappeared. The edges of the protector sealed quickly and as it appears now, does not look like they will lift. I will come back after a few days to update on how its working after using phone with case.

Just installed on s9, worked great, initially worried about edge but wiping repeatedly (a few more times than the video) say 15x per side and it has stuck down well. Be careful with the micro-fibre squeegy as the corner on mine left some channels behind where I worked out some bubbles. They aren't very noticeable and I hope they fade with time... and I always have the other from the package! Initially felt way too sticky but as it has cured (10 minutes) it already feels smoother and similar to a glass screen.

I am most definitely a fan of Spigen cases but unfortunately I can't say the same for their screen protectors. i pre ordered the Note 8 and love the phone and the Spigen Tough Armor case I bought to protect it but...The Neo Flex screen protector is cut out too big! It overlays way to much.Outside of that the screen protector really looks great! It's a shame Spigen didn't pay attention to the detail dimension wise for the Note 8 otherwise I would highly recommend it. I'm going to upload a video on my TH-cam channel showing exactly what I'm talking about. I will post a link to the video in a reply as soon as I upload it. I hope Spigen will take note of this problem and correct an otherwise great screen protector.

18/6/19 i just applied the first one.
    Device : Galaxy Note 9
    Good thinks:
    Sticks very strong on screen
i have good grip, even when my fingers are sweat they dont slip on.
I dont have bubbles on screen
    Bad thinks :
I have mini rainbow on the entire screen.
Tips: if you want to peel off while applying to change positions or something else, make sure that you sprayed your device, nano flex, fingers and take a look on the flex to avoid little trashs that looks bad after finish.
Is better to start procedure when you will have clean hands, on a clean desk without A/C or open window in your room.

@@ApurvaJariwalaap12 Hello friend sorry for my late reply, i didn't leave second comment so long to make sure my feelings with the flex!
your question is how is the feel, typing, brownsing etc with S-pen.
The sensivity is same as without the flex,
except a few times that do not slip on the screen and make turbulence
(but i had that issue also before apply the flex)
on brownsing and gaming are very stable especially in drawing.
type message with S-pen is tha same as naked.
Now the other things is that i don't think that the rainbows disappeared from my screen but now it ok ... very comfortable at everything.
Focus only at apply moments to make sure for any trashs onto the flex.

      @Rafail500Saketi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

My problems with it are as follows:
    1. video is cut out way too much.
    2. it is not as easy as in the video.
    3. removing foil leaves fingerprints on foil even when spraying gel on fingertips.
    4. dust is also stuck when the film is on the hand, when sprayed on the film, when cell phone is on the table, when film is to be put on display with movement.
    5. after the gel comes out from sides, the sides are not glued.
    6. after a few days the bubbles are still there!
    7. removing and re-sticking needs gel and there is no gel left for the second foil.
    8. a year ago I have successfully glued one piece without any difficulties. Now I have it very difficult. Is this due to material or beginner's luck?
