and the excellent power and torque enables the user to adopt a larger dia and higher pitch props.

Thomas, I am looking at this particular engine for my Don Smith P51 Mustang. Would you be so kind as to share your thoughts about the Roto 130 FSI? Has the dependability been good? How about the overall reliability? Are you pleased with the engine? Have you many flights on it? What size prop are you using? What important information would you offer someone considering this engine? Is it worth the extra effort of housing it in a completely enclosed nose? I have heard the temp of the rear cylinder is usually around a bone chilling 215 degrees. I would really appreciate your input on this engine. Thanks so much.

      Hi Rob,
I don't have long enough experience with this engine. Just some hours on it.
I would say this engine is quite nice for this kind of application.
Sound characteristic is somewhere between the muscle sound of Kolm engines and the graceful Moki radial.
It also has an excellent durability under severe operating condition.
Full cowling with an appropriate cooling system should give your Don Smith P-51 a satisfactory result.
Please search for the cooling ideas of inline engines in a CARF Mustang.
And those ideas would be very helpful for your building project.
I am very much satisfied with this engine.
When you are planning to use this engine, please consider the dimension and the shape of its mount.
And keep it in mind that it has three separate carburetors, but it is not so critical to adjust it.
Choke valve linkage would require some efforts of you.
I would recommend this ROTO 130FSI or Kolm IL-155V4 (two ccylinder, 270 degree) or IL-150V4 (three cylinder) for your project.
I hope this would be the right answer to your questions.
Good luck with your project !

Thank you for your time @@JetCatKorea Very helpful indeed. Can you tell me how much the PT-19 weighs? I expect the DS Stang will come in around 50 to 55 pounds. (22.6 to 24.9 kg). Last question, do you feel in your opinion on a Mustang of 112" and roughly 50 pounds, the 130 fsi is a good choice? I would like to have a Kolm, however there have been some changes in the company and I do not really like what is going on. Also, they are very expensive ya know? Would you consider writing me at my normal email address? You may be able to help me out with the install and things to be aware of. I think I may purchase the 130 this evening. Email is: stangflyer@live.com
Thank you again so very much.
      Best Regards,
      Rob

I love the motor sound. but its pretty big what is the flying weight ? I was looking at getting one but using a eme 70cc twin 2 stroke, does this plane need the big engine that you are using? sorry for all the questions. thank you
