I think this may be my favorite journal design from A&O! I love the spells book in the cover 🥺 it’s simple but so detailed at the same time!!

The charms on the pen are so cute but yes, the clicking would bug me……I would take them off and make a dangle charm from them they are so CUTE!

I love everything in this box!! Having said that I’ve always been Halloween obsessed, so that’s hardly surprising! I want to get my dirty mits on the glow in the dark highlighters most of all

This box seems like a very elegant Halloween to me. I personally was expecting more macabre and horror stuff. Buuuuut having said that, I'm still jealous of Rose for having it!! 👻🖤
Maybe we can send our hopes out for future products that are more in that vein 👏 I don't know if we'll see them from A&O though 😝 Maybe I just need to produce them, haha

I was super excited for this box. However, after seeing all the unboxing details, it seems to me that they put more thought into the packaging than they did the actual products. I am crazy for their notebooks, but I would have liked to have seen this notebook have black paper instead of the white paper. The pens are, more or less, for novelty with the charms. I would have really loved to have sticker sheets in the box instead of the collage paper. For the price of the subscription box, I expected more.

I was a good girl and only got one journal. I know I shouldn't complain about the shipping considering what anyone outside of the US has to pay but in the grand scheme of things it is too damn much!
How long did you leave the micron before trying to highlight over it? It does take the ink in waterproof ink a while to fully become waterproof, so there's the possibility that it would work without smudging if it was left longer!
I agree with another comment I saw on here, the packaging looks nicer than the products on a lot of things (those highlighters for example look very basic with no design, might have been cute if they had a black barrel with stars or pumpkins or other shapes cut out clear randomly so that the ink colour would pop through) The boxes look so pretty!
Fair point! I did try to leave it awhile so that the ink was, at least visibly, fully dry, but I probably could have left the ink a bit longer 🤔 I would still probably do the highlighter first and then write over the top of it just to be safe 😝 yeah I can see what you mean about the packaging versus items 🤔
Asking what our favorite item is from an Archer and Olive box is really not doable. What Item do I think I might not use as much as the others... possibly the highlighters but they are in no way my least favorite thing. It is a fabulous and fun box. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

On the Design Team we only get sent certain items, so this box only got sent to 2-3 members of the team 😊 I was lucky that Rose lives close by so I could do an unboxing for you guys! 😄

Been waiting for this box for a while and then it sold out before I could even get it. Might as well just not even follow what they come up with since people from Europe don’t get to buy any of the cool stuff due to different time zone.
I can understand that would be frustrating 😣 being in New Zealand, I was up at 2 am for release time so that I could get the items I wanted 💜
Regarding the 2-headed cat. One head clearly has little kitty ears, the other item looks more like a paw to me. So it's probably a cat with one paw up in the air, batting at a bug or toy or something
If you look closely it's got one head turned to the side and the other looking forward (assuming we're viewing the cat from the back or something 😝). Otherwise that's a pretty big paw given it's the same size as the head 😂
@@JashiiCorrin Maybe the cat is facing you, and has a paw reaching out towards you, so it would be foreshortened, and appear to be larger because it's closer to you? I had trouble trying to pause the video at the correct time so it was difficult to tell. Does a two headed cat even make sense?
A & O said it was a two headed cat in the email they sent out right before the Halloween launch.

Why are you testing products for a package that isn't yours? That seems like you're stealing someone's product even if it's a little bit of ink. Why would you fully activate the highlighters when they could dry out or leak during travel. It just seems so rude and unfair.
That's a fair question 😊 I wanted to do a similar style of unboxing to what we've done previously, so wanted to make sure I showed how the pens worked. As compensation for borrowing the box and the use of that small portion of ink, I paid Rose by the way of a stencil that she originally wanted to purchase for me; she agreed to trade this unboxing for me giving her that stencil. I also picked up and dropped of the box myself to ensure there were no issues during transit. I made sure not to use more than necessary to test the products (as you'll have seen, I didn't swatch any of the washi tapes as I would typically do because we can see the designs just by unrolling them and putting them back on the roll unused). There was certainly no theft involved in this unboxing, haha 😅
