I'm obsessed with pretty boxes. Sometimes on Christmas morn, I get excited at the boxes my presents come in. Depending on the gift inside, I may end up enjoying the box more.
I’ve departed from bullet journaling, and therefore buying stationary, about 2 years ago. I was obsessed with A&O when their inventory consisted of journals, notepads, and acrylograph markers (the newest launch I saw before I fell off). All I can say now is holy crap! They have so many things now!! I’m still a sucker for stationary and everything featured here just makes that part of my brain rapid fire lol
That reveal of the last book … i want this box now, it is so pretty!!
I am so excited for the floral press! My mom and I used to press flowers from our garden and make bookmarks for friends and family. Now that I have a little girl I can do the same with her ☺️
What a beautiful box of goodies!!!! Quick tip with stamping: Take the ink to the stamp rather than the stamp to the ink. This way you control how much pressure you apply the ink to the stamp. Hope that helps x

JESS! I had an epiphany yesterday when I was opening an A&O washi tape box... I opened it from the bottom and there was no danger of ripping! It just opened! Idk why I hadn't thought of that before 😂 And I just got my sub box today. Opened the tape from the bottom -> no ripping. Incredible.

This was so fun to watch. I think the flower press, ruler, and stamp set were my favorite, but all of it was so gorgeous!!!

I watched the official reveal yesterday, and I am stoked for the entire box as a whole. I'm just terrified to use any of it because it's all so beautiful and not worthy of my grocery lists and mundane tasks! I kind of even just want to display the ribbon as-is (those wooden spools!!) in a little glass bowl or something

You don't need a pen loop when you have a spiral-bound notebook. You use the spiral binding.

I can see that 😄 I think I’d have a hard time getting any decoration to match with the Dutch door edge unless I did a re-creation of the ruler decoration 🤔

I finally love a box - except the wire! I can't pick a favorite :) most random item award goes to the ribbon lol I think I will just keep that for photos, but you're right, it would go well with the flower press, the stamps and the fall wax seal for cardmaking. So, maybe I will give that a go. My favorite might be the stamps, only because when they asked us what we'd like to see them make or bring back one of the things I asked for was Stamps. I randomly watched your stash tour video yesterday and you have way more A&O stamps than I knew existed! I wish they woul bring them all back. I got the ones in the fall release and several months back the familiar set had been on sale so I grabbed it in anticipation of Halloween, so glad I did because it's gone. You're umboxings are always fun Thank you!

Watching you unbox everything, I was sure the box would cost well over $100. but I think $75 is actually so reasonable for everything included!
I could see the velvet one as a wedding book for wishes from family, that way it stays a keepsake and could even stay in the box.

So many pretty things! I’m excited to receive my box. I’ll probably use most of the items (not sure about the flower press just yet), but will definitely be using the stamp set regularly. I’m not great at handlettering, so I use alphabet stamps all the time in my journal.

I honestly cannot wait for mine to arrive, I love it all... lol. Faves, the journals, The small one will be my adventure journal, where I camp/hike, and I can get floral snippets, press, and add.. I haven't done that since I was a kid, like you, using books and hoping I wouldn't get in trouble.. The B6 will be a memoir journal. Having a medical scare recently has put my mortality in the frame, I want to note the things in my life that mean/have meant the most to me. I adore the whole box and am super pleased I decided to subscribe to these boxes.

It’s okay, I like to hold on to boxes too. It’s nice to have pretty boxes for storing things and the Archer & Olive boxes are great because I can remember what I put where because of color coding. I’m super excited for the green B5 journal, it looks so pretty and green is my favorite color. Also really excited for the flower press because I’ve been wanting to try that out and was planning to make my own, but now I don’t have to.

What a beautiful box! I love it when there are multiple notebooks and I love that one is a B6! My only complaint is that there are no number stamps. I would use them all the time. Hoping they will make some in the future.
Wow, honestly I think this is maybe the only stationary box that I feel like it's worth every single penny. I wish I could get one! (but because of shipping and customs the total would go up to 170€, and even tho I have a job... That's way too much for me, even if it's every three months. Really bummed out, but at least I can enjoy your unboxings
I must admit I even rubbed the green notebook across my cheeks- so excited to use everything in this box but my favorites are probably the stamps with the gold brown ink pad and the green notebook

I adore this box! The best box since I started to subscribe! The washis are perhaps not my favourites, but everything else is just GORGEOUS 😍

It looks like you could use the decorative side of the wooden ruler to trace and cut your page edge. So cool.
Yeah I saw that mentioned! I think I’d have a hard time then filling the outline with decoration 😝 but that’s a me problem

New to your channel, and love your style. Quick tip for opening boxes without destroying them: use tweezers. Just slide the tweezers under the flap, and twist to open. Works in a pinch!

For opening tight boxes like these, I stick one side of my tweezers under the flap and turn them like a key to lift it up.

How long does it usually take for things to pop up in the store after the subscription box? I prefer spiral bound notebook and am very curious about the Archer one.
Depends really, previously it’s been a month or so, so potentially we could expect that. We have has wire binding from A&O before on their water colour journals, but this is the first dot grid one I think we’ve had 🤔
It's strict getting packages and luggage into the Australian continent. So many bacteria, fungi, insects, plants which you don't have and can affect native species and lands, so I see why they opened your package up to see if there is anything "of interest" hehe

I am patiently waiting for mt box. I wish they had included numbers in the stamp set. And what to do with the ribbons? hmmm. And darn they need to start putting a name or number on their pens. I am organizing them by sets so I can find the right one when I am looking at my swatches. But overall it looks like a gorgeous selection of things. My favorite thing will probably be the stamps or the green notebook.
I super wish we had names on the pens 😭 and agree, numbers would have been great!
Hey Jess, I’ve been watching your videos and I think you are awesome. I was wondering, what do you do with your note books/journals once you have filled them?
Typically they just get stored on my shelves 😄 I like to keep them for reference, in particular for video making where I want to show an example of something, so I might be a "special case" with regards to the reasoning 😝
I love the stamp but I would need some sort of case that I can slide each letter in to make a level word because I would drive myself crazy trying to make sure my letters are aligned.
Oh for sure 👏 especially as they are wooden, that’d be tricky!
