    Number 2 looks STUNNING! Definitely my fave out of the 3! The clumpage and the definition in the back even on your left wide looked amazing!!
    I will always have a love for the NYM mousse. It has always by far given me the best definition and volume out of any of my stylers and I can count on it if I have an event and want to wear my hair natural. But you're right about the sticky feeling and hair does feel producty with it. I now prefer higher end mousses and gels but I still go back to the NYM especially in the summer where I use it as a one n done.
    Cake beauty I tried to like. It also gave me a producty feeling and my results are good on washday but there's almost no hold the next few days. It gives good clumps and i remember getting it on sale for $5.20 but I havent used it in a long time because I dont like the feeling it gives to my hair or the results longterm.
    Havent tried hask and guess I never will lol. Cant do heavily scented products. Im getting itchy just thinking about it!

      What higher end mousses do you like the best would you say? I'm definitely looking to try some. I do like mousses, but you're right. They don't always work the best on their own.
      I'm starting to feel the same about the Cake products. I had some high hopes, but gotta say that I'm underwhelmed.
      And totally fair 😂 I'm bummed that it makes me itch because I do still like the product. But I may get rid of it just for that.

      @@Linas_lovelylocks I like the Amika volume mousse and AG mousse-gel! I would say I use the AG the most often (works super well with their creams) but I love the volume the amika one gives me plus it has added heat protection up to 450° F (232° C). I have a feeling I'll like the curlsmith one as well once I get my hands on it!
      Also had the ouidad mousse a few years ago which I remember liking but don't remember how it performed. May have to repurchase actually..

      @@ceystal thanks for the feedback ☺ I actually just bought the AG mousse gel to try. 😂 it'll probably be in a video here before too long. Next video I'm filming will be about the new Curlsmith volume products, so that'll be interesting to see. I actually also have the Ouidad mousse I haven't tried yet. 😅 Apparently I've really been sleeping on these.
      I haven't tried the Amika one yet, but the heat protectants sounds awesome. I'll have to look into it.

    I love NYM products. I feel that the definition was best with the NYM.

      I definitely agree! On both counts. NYM products always give be amazing results. They're some of my favorite products. ☺️

    Totally agree about the NYM feeling gross. I almost threw mine away but tried it again to refresh this week (just a tiny bit) and it worked amazing.
    I have a love/hate relationship with Cake: LOVE the smell, kinda hate it as a one and done. Maybe I should use it as a body lotion.
    🤣

      @Linas_lovelylocks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's totally fair. I think the NYM mousse is probably best paired with summering else so you can use less of it. But agreed as well on the Cake Mousse. I may try pairing it with a few different creams and gels. See what happens. But it's probably best to glaze over and scrunch, not so much to rake... I wonder how it would work as a refresh product 🤔

      Yeah, I didn't like the way the Cake mousse felt in my hair. I never tried Hask mousse, but I can see why it's been discontinued. I've been loving one that is very underrated and that is Captivating Curls mousse by Suave!

    • @Linas_lovelylocks
      @Linas_lovelylocks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good to know. I actually have a few more mousses that I want to try now that I have a good base line. Maybe I'm see if I can find the Suave one to try. I've never heard of it. It sounds interesting ☺️

    I have all 3 and have tried all 3. I like the cake the best for something affordable. I used it with the cake curl cream under it. However I try to stick to higher end products because I feel like they're better for my hair. But I do love cake. For higher end, Raw Curls, AG mousse gel with one of their curl creams, Evolvh. Just tried Alterna. Really worked well with Raw Curls cream gel. Amazing. The Raw Curls cream gel can be a one and done and pairs well with many foams and mousse's. And they're having a sake right now!

      Sale, lol. Oh and cake hair spray is amazing. Soft hold that scrunches right out. Got that too feom manes by Mell. I always figure if she likes a brand, she probably knows,, lol

      I haven't tried a ton of high end mousses. I tend to prefer drug store stuff. Partially because of price. But also for my channel because I know a lot is purple can't afford anything else so I like to try the cheaper options first. I am excited to try some higher end mousses next though. I actually did by the AG gel mousse that I'm going to make a video on soon. I also bought the new Curlsmith one in excited to try. I have a few others as well. Omg by Ouidad. One by Nexxus. They'll be fun to play with.
      I have tried the Raw Curls products. I may have to look into that. Thank you for the recommendation. I also haven't tried the Cake hairspray. I totally forgot about it to be honest. But now that you brought it up, I may have to see if I can find it.

    Option two is my favorite 😊how do you like the defining brush? I’m nervous to get it because every time I section my hair and brush style, it turns out stringy. I didn’t like the cake mousse when I tried it. Have you tried umberto products? Your hair is similar to mine! Pretty dog!!!

      I do really like how number two turned out. Especially the longevity. Day 2 was beautiful! I like the Cake Mousse, but it's not my favorite by far. I haven't tried the Umberto products yet, but it's on my list of things i want to try.
      Thank you for the compliments on my dog ☺️
      I honestly love my brush, but especially with this one, there are tricks to making it work right without getting stringy curls. I'm going to make a video talking about my updated experience with it. It'll probably be about three weeks out at this point, so keep an eye out for it. I'm hoping it'll be helpful.

      Yeah it's definitely not common. I actually had an Australian Shepherd growing up who had it too. It's a pretty cool thing to see.
