Yeah, I loved mine.....finally sold it, to get something a bit more radical, but luckily it's living at a friend's recording studio, so I still use it often.....They're amazing......and I'm loving what you're pulling from your gear....
@@willswitchcraft Ah nice that you can still use it! Which other pedal did you get? Also still interested in something more ‘radical’ or unpredictable ;)
I replaced the Micrcosm with a Cosmos, by Soma Labs.......The Microcosm is a brilliant piece of gear, but the Cosmos is designed to handle the stereo signals with different time delays - 'to stimulate meditative states'.....so it's really unique........For anyone like you, who's primarily doing 'beat related' music, the Microcosm is going to be far better, as you can MIDI sync it, etc. I've done quite a few Cosmos videos if you're interested in hearing some of the things it does.....(and a few in depth Microcosm videos) th-cam.com/video/BiRywMGG1zM/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Q-ETf9BGmio/w-d-xo.html
@@willswitchcraft Hahahah how did I miss your videos? The intro of the Microcosm video 😂👌🏼 Will check the rest out later! Cosmos is also a very interesting one.
@@juergenbranz Meris LVX is No 1. Really interesting thing. Also I'm considering Beebo or ZOIA but I'm not a fan of all-in-one design because it brings lack of knob per function control. Even NightSky which I own have strange hidden shift controls which leaving many parameters levels unseen in real-time 🐱
i love using the microcosm like this, just subtly sitting in the bottom of the mix, bringing it up to increase the energy, etc. Lovely chord progression/sequence as well!
Hi Megan, Awesome work on these! I arrived to your channel searching for granular synthesis hardware and I enjoy your music and your taste while choosing gear. A small note from a viewer's perspective: The quality of the recorded audio in your intro sections can be easily improved by using any cheap lavallier mic, or trying to get any camera mic used closer to you (the sound source). I think it would up the perceived quality of your videos big time.... the audio coming from your mixes/sessions already sounds great. Keep up the awesome work! You have a new subscriber in the Netherlands
Hi! Happy to hear you enjoy my music :) and thanks for the tip on the lavallier mic! Someone else also told me about that a little while ago, really useful. I’ll definitely think about getting one if I want to do more (professional) videos, for now my focus will be on live sets and finishing tracks 😃 Best and thanks again!
Sorry to say, but this is a totally different chord progression ;) in fact, it is just one chord transposed up and down, nothing too complicated. If you did some research you’d know I’m not one to “steal melodies”, as I am creative enough to come up with my own. And if I do use someone’s melody because I’m inspired by it (not to “steal” it) I let them know and ask them if it’s ok if I share it (as with Guy Gerber’s “What To Do”). Think I’ve made my point ;) Have a nice day!
Really good, why don't you make more videos?
Lovely sequence within effect! I wish there could be more of these
wow......excellence.....shades of N.....Frahm...............brilliant and epic.......and so atmospheric...............love the cloudy ending...
Thank you Will! 🙏🏼👌🏼 The Microcosm excels in being cloudy ;)

Pure sound. Keep making trance
Superb control 👌 Love it 👏👏👏
Thank you Probbiiieee!
Great track Megan. Pedals add so much extra to Synthesizers. The Hologram Sounds interesting. Strymon pedals are brilliant, but so Expensive.😊
True, almost every pedal (or gear for that matter) is expensive! But you’re right, it adds a lot. And thanks!
Yes, expensive: agree with you, i would have one. But you have Also Soma cosmos and she is more expensive: what's the best of the two?.... Question?.
Atlantis is such a fun module.
It iiiiiisssss 😍
Sooo good. Love it.
Thanks Kenny!
