THIS WAS MADE PURELY FOR FUN This is a 'music video' I put together using clips from the movie Moulin Rouge, directed by Baz Luhrmann, and starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. The song is "Come What May", originally written by Elton John.
It takes a little while for the actual "singing" (if you will) to start, so the until 1:18, it's clips from the movie that I thought was sweet or cute between the two. =)

I didn't know much about Ewan McGregor at the time the only thing I had seen him in was Star Wars Episode I, but I never knew that Nicole Kidman could sing, and by the time they were done filming Ewan was already getting his Obi-Wan Look.
These two together are so enchanting on screen. If you combine that with them singing you have the making of a classic.

Just caught the live stage adaptation of this movie. Wonderfully done, AMAZING set, but for me it will never be better than this movie.

Well by the end of the movie he's starting to have his Obi-Wan Look so I get the feeling when he was done with Moulin Rouge he had to start filming Star Wars Episode II.
They were both ripped off that year at the Oscars! Nicole should have won best actress and he shouldhavve been nomminated and won for best acttor! This movie was amazing and their peformances were stellar! This is still my favorite movie of all time!

cfcej1 I loved the video that you made of this movie. It's one of my VERY favorites but the song was not written by Elton John. It was composed and written by David Baerwald and Kevin Gilbert. It was originally composed for Romeo and Juliet. I think maybe you got it mixed up with the other song that Ewan sang in the movie "Your Song". Now THAT song was written and composed by Bernie Taupin and then it was sang originally by Elton. It was my very first favorite song by him.
