- Just a great story of Sai Love and Sai adventure. Watch this guy for a second and you'll see the love just pouring from his heart and from his eyes. You just gotta love him. John Moore is a Baba VETERAN....having spent weeks, months and years in The Abode of Highest Peace.
John first met Baba in 1975 after a wild and adventurous travel experience from the U.S. to Europe, to Asia, to Puttaparthi. Boy can this guy travel, and talk and recall story after story of heavenly love. My one regret? I only recorded the story of how he came to Baba. There must be many hours left to record of how Baba totally, without question, transformed his life.
John comes from my neck of the woods, Youngstown, Ohio. I'm from Canton, Ohio, an hour away. Both are dirt kicking, tough as nails, working class cities located between New York and Chicago. The number one industries in both of our towns growing up, steel. Hence those who grow up here become as tough as steel. It would take the power, might and love of Sai Baba to soften us both. And He has....as you will soon see.
Welcome to Souljourns, Part 1 I hope of many to come. This interview was recorded in John Moore's tiny one room, second floor flat, in the home of a great local family, just across the road from the bus station, in Puttaparthi, India. It was recorded in January, 2013.

John and I are like blood brothers. We met in India sharing the darshan line together. I have been sooooooooo blessed by Baba!-- personal interviews; allowing me to help the university students with their music. Maynard Ferguson was the "principal" in starting this music education for them. I helped them guided by Maynard Fergueson. I have many personal pictures of Baba given to me by the many band students. Going to India; finding my love for Baba---this is still venture. Sai Ram

What a wonderful story,a typical Sai Baba experience where for some inexplicable reason a soul is drawn to Sai not only in person for the lucky ones,but in their own consciousness like myself who have never been face to face with Swami.
So glad I found this,never heard of John until now,I thought I had heard of all the main western devotees ,so this is a real treat.
Hes a real nice guy radiating Sai's Love, so blessed to have known Sai Baba in the early years before the huge crowds came and made things difficult but it was meant to be...

I saw him in darshan lines many times while I was doing Mandir service...I used to feel that he was very egoistic but used to sit silently. After seeing this video Ohhhh! I have no words to say...so much real experience..this gave some sort of great feeling about Baba's Love..care..I am really getting more inspired..even we visit Prashanthi nilayam..we cant know all these experiences..Great service You do..Sai Ram!!!

I never had any physical closeness with swami, but hundreds of dreams that brought me in oneness with him.

Sai Ram. Bro John Moore's interview is incomplete...he never finished his story i.e. after he left Puttarparthi to Bombay and he was not allowed to stay in Gurduwara except for one for 1 day....pls do another another interview and complete his journey. Btw has he written any books?
Excellent story! Sai Ram. However, there is no need to extend your visa etc. once you believe Swami is God. That's why they said you still have ego (when you expressed desire to go for visa extention etc.)
