It was called Standard because back when it was introduced in the 1800s that was the only size everywhere. Different sizes came later. Thxs for sharing i love it.

I made one of these years ago. Time to make another bag. Thank you for the suggestion. You never know. I might make one for friends using Christmas card supplies from Michael's. PS Mine were not made with rings. I punched holes on the sides, then used ribbon.
I've made lots of paper bag albums but never held them at this direction! Usually just fold them over then I can use the top portion of the bag as another pocket. Will try this method for sure! HINT: When using the cropadile, if you turn it upside down you can see the whole where you are punching, makes it much easier to see the mark on the paper!! Very cute album, TFS!!

Just making my first one following your video. Wondering if when you folded over the bag (to make it 6 inches) if you glued it down or did you leave it loose since you cover the page with cardstock? Hope that makes sense. :)

Makes total sense. I did not glue it...it's held in place by the paper layers.
