The curse has always been on sin. A generational curse is when a second generation person repeats the same sin that the first generation did even though they knew what the results would be. They saw the pain, hurt, resentment that the sin caused and repeated it anyway.

In a new covenant Jesus died on the cross to break the curse. But it is not automatic and you have to undergo deliverance if you want to be set free.

With respect, I’m not sure this is correct. The verse you quote Galatians 3:13 says “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having BECOME a curse for us…” However 2 Corinthians 5:21 says “for He made Him who knew no sin TO BE sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”. I don’t think anyone would argue that sin has ceased to exist just because Jesus embodied it for us (therefore we must still repent) so why is it argued that generational “curses” would just cease to exist? I believe if you look at just about any family, you can see clear evidence for the existence of generational curses and it is misleading to suggest that people should not renounce the sins of their ancestors. If what I am saying is am wrong, the worst that could happen is they waste a bit of time working on it in prayer. If you are wrong, whilst it needn’t necessarily affect their salvation, they may live a lifetime, tormented for the sins of their ancestors. I would recommend Isaiah Saldivar’s recent TH-cam video on The Secrets of Generational Curses. May God bless you. 🙏

@APCPickering Everytime I go out with a loved one, something bad happens to us. The bad coming from other individuals. Every single time. Why? We're good hearted people. We're always doing good, but bad comes to us.😢

What religion and denomination are you? Have you ever visited mediums, fortune tellers, healers, psychics, esoteric or wicca sessions? Or do you have any crystals or foreign "energy" objects at home or wear a red wristband?

Put on the armor of god and say spiritual warfare prayers against demonic harassment and for protection.
Are you saved? The holy spirit won't allow some things.

there is no genrational curses and sins. if you believe in that, you don't believe this
2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
old testament had altogether different notion about god. But Jesus taught He is like a FATHER.

Now suppose this man fathers a son who sees all the sins that his father has done; he sees, and does not do likewise: he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor's wife, does not oppress anyone, exacts no pledge, commits no robbery, but gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with a garment, withholds his hand from iniquity, takes no interest or profit, obeys my rules, and walks in my statutes; he shall not die for his father's iniquity; he shall surely live. As for his father, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother, and did what is not good among his people, behold, he shall die for his iniquity.
“Yet you say, ‘Why should not the son suffer for the iniquity of the father?’ When the son has done what is just and right, and has been careful to observe all my statutes, he shall surely live. The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.
    Ezekiel 18:14-20

yes.... ALL descendants of adam are cursed... and this is why Jesus came (not of the corrupt seed of adam) but born of a woman, under the law, to redeem those under the law... Jesus became a curse for us... that we would be BLESSED IN HIS NAME
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."
Lord you are good to us... May we learn to honour you - for you are worthy of it all
