Quick math point : Why isolating 1v1s in clutch. Let's say you're in 1v5, if you take 5 separate 1v1 you have each time a 1:1 ratio of winning an loosing it. Which is (1/2)^5 = 1/32 Now if you're taking a 1v5 You first have a 1:5 chance of winning, then 1:4 when you kill one guy etc, which means that you have, at the start, a 1/6 chance of getting one kills, and then after getting one kills you have a 1/5 chance etc. Which means that your probability of winning this whole 1v5 is actually : 1/6! = 1/720 Which is 22.5x lower than if you separated them. It's only a mathematical theory and y'all know that it'll depends on a lot of different things, but i think y'all will understand that you have more chance of winning it by isolating those fights.
i've always been a chicken towards SND during my early days of attempting to play rank, but now it has grown on me. as someone who has reached legendary a few times by solo queueing, SND isn't for the weak hearted. here's a few things i learned from playing SND: 1. know when, where, and how to walk, run, hold, peek, and plant 2. use your utility & choose your fights wisely, create space and isolate fights 3. clear your corners/angles, check for traps 4. listen & watch for cues 5. never assume that your enemy is stupid, always stay cautious of where they'd come from 6. crosshair placement gives you an advantage & pre aiming an angle can sometimes pay off 8. know your weapon/s & covers 9. mix things up by changing your route & loadout 10. playing time can be beneficial 11. trigger discipline 12. baiting is a gamble, you either lose or win it 13. the map is your ally, check for pings & use the chat comms if you can't use your mic 14. you won't always get the best teammates, so you can't always be dependent on them 15. try not to overanalyze the situation you're in, sometimes simplicity and composure can win your team the round 16. SND will drive you crazy, just accept it
Alternative solution: blast music in spotify, queue up for Team Deathmatch, turn off brain and frag (if you're good enough to get good KD every game, you barely lose xp on a loss and you gain +40 on a win) 😅 SnD is too stressful and filled with toxic teammates as a solo queue player tbh, but SUPER fun with friends
@@Pyxytyas someone who most of the time play rank SnD it is stressful but when you get in the zone and effortlessly get an ace its the best feeling ever especially if your enemies are sweats aka shotgun, smg, and melee abusers it's like getting your first quickscope all over again
4:15 I really want to emphasize about isolating 1v1s, especially when you're in a 1vN situation where u still have a lot of time before planting the bomb. The best route is to whittle down enemy numbers first before planting the bomb. That way you won't be up against 2 or more enemies pushing the site together.
My tip is always pick up a gun if you killed someone using a sniper or shotgun for more versatility this can be ar lmg or smg but you can also choose sg if your using a sniper for better close range
I am the bad teammate y'all keep taggin in these comments... but some niches are meant to be filled... gotta love me when you come against me.. and hate me the other way around.. Win some lose some
When i play snd. I usually play safe. Like telling my teamates to not overshoot themselves to the enemy side. While we defend or plant the bomb. If we go offensive usually i tell my teamates to go all in in 1 bomb site we all choose to agree after that we stay and protect the bomb we dont usually find the enemies we usually lure them so they could defuse it while we set up our camping positions. In defending tho we usually stay on both bomb sites if we kill the bomber we usually place a marker on the bomb and tell our teammates to go to this position and we all hold the bomb. Besides they wanted bomb. Not us😊
I like 1v5 situations as it gives me a chance to get an ace , whenever im on a 1v5 situation i get so excited my adrenaline flows and i can feel that im entering flow state i main fennec so i usually confront 2 enemies at the same time with some moves and aim not lying and i just wanted to share info about me
I play on Garena Server, and sometimes I get teamed up or play against Chinese/Taiwanese 4 man/5 man. 4:16 is one of the things that makes it hard to play against them. You can't isolate them. They always have someone beside them who has reflexes above average human. You can't count on them as much when they play solo tho.
I dont usually freak out I just stay calm but when enemies are all there my heart beat gets faster, for me it's ez to 1v5 in situation of more space like raid, coastal and etc.
3:55 yes iam sometimes nervous when a girl that has mic on is on my team especially on 1v5 scenarios for sone reason my hearth beats so fast and i just die quickly 😅
My 2c for clutching S&D as a defender. If you can see an enemy planting alone with no teammates around, wait for them to plant - then kill them and go for the defuse to instantly win that round. And if you are the last one alive on your team, learn how to be unpredictable. I dont know how to explain that in a way that is teachable, but the reality of a 1v2 or 1v5 situation is that the odds of winning that round are not in your favour. Accept that fact, and focus on the next 2 seconds you can control. Think of common player tendancies/routes/corners that people peak/slide around and do the opposite. Count on the 1 or 2 (or more) enemies that are cocky enough to try and hunt you down to improve their K/D or get the ace, instead of holding OBJ which is the smart thing to do. They will be extra cocky knowing you are outnumbered, which means they are underestimating you. IMO competitive S&D is so much more of a mental game than anything else. Give me teammates with average skill, but big brains over big skill and no brain anyday. Unlike respawns, you have to think like a chess player - 5 to 10 steps ahead, and sometimes that means sacrificing a teammate, yourself, or taking the L for that round.
Ugh this. My usual squad would always be able to destroy me in 1v1s on any gun, but on snd ranked matches they're always rushing and over-extending, even if we're in post plant or if we're supposed to be defending site. Always get left last alive and have to finish a round against 2 or 3, which is easy when you're playing obj, knowing the angles they can come from, and not running around like a headless chicken. 100% agree with your last statement of preferring smarter players over skilled ones
I don't know why I don't see this more, but, if you plant the bomb, and throw C4 directly on the bomb, most players... or in my case everyone, misses the C4. So when the defender go to defuse, or even just fake defuse once, if I'm within sound distance u can just detonate my C4. Sometimes I don't even put C4 on the planted bomb, sometimes I'll put it on the obj, and the opponent won't shoot the C4 first, cause they can't hear footsteps, so logic dictates that I'm not around. Instead I'm right around the corner waiting for the click
In a 1v5 if you are the defender , then I must say the chances of winning are pretty minimal cause firstly they would secure the entire area and secondly time is main reason why people lose . If you consider playing s and d I recommend being pretty adept with the sniper , Its the best gun type to use in s and d
I've been watching so much Valorant Viper gameplays that it made me use restock for smoke and frag. I have 6 SnD loadouts, all of them are just one type of weapon but different tacticals & lethals. I kinda like clutch situations. I'm comfortable with it thinking the least I can do is have one kill. Then that would stack up kill by kill and ending up defusing the bomb.
