he's played thousands of games and it's amazing to me he still can remember what and how each game is played. i cant even remember the exact rule of a game i played with my kids if i put it off for a few months.
My wife’s birthday is Dec 1, and our oldest stumbled on the Exit advent calendar last year for her present. It was amazing and will be his present for her as long as they keep making them.
Genuinely think Firenze is one of the most underrated euros for a while. Slap it on KS with a new ‘building skyscrapers on the moon theme’ and it hits the BGG top 100.
I really wanted Holding On to be better. I actually like the game AND the story, but one of the main mechanisms, the memory cards themselves, get boring after you have seen them all multiple times. I felt like I had seen everything when I was only halfway through the game and I didn't like the game THAT much. I find the basic mechanisms really interesting, but it needs at least twice as many cards to really work, IMHO.
Not really a copy, since Kraken takes Hitler and gives him a makeover and more abilities, and turns him into a cultist. If you liked Hitler, wait till you see him drown in the ocean, baby!
Ah, I must have played a simplified version of Secret Hitler where the map had been removed, there were only two instead of three factions, and... ah, right it shares ONE mechanism with Secret Hitler. In that sense, Secret Hitler is just Werewolf.

After getting the cave one as an early Christmas present last year, I ordered the book one just yesterday to do this December.
That's a very odd coincidence that exactly 10 years after you reviewed One night ultimate werewolf, I bought it.
This is the most amount of changes I've ever seen.

Firenze is so good and impossible to find for retail price. Even the reprint is tough to get.

I have owned it and culled it several times because I keep forgetting the parts I found boring. I find the basic game that compelling.
Oof. One night didnt work or make any sense to any of us. And weve played many social deduction games. 3 at best for me
feed the kraken unique? it's a carbon copy of secret hitler. it's probably the least original and unique game I played
