Rachel, if you add your dimensionals or tape first, then use your anti-static bag, your tags will stick better. Sometimes there is too much cornstarch on the back of your item and the dimensionals and/or tape does not stick.
Good thought. yes, I've had it happen when my Dimensionals didn't stick as well when I overdid the powder. But it makes it more clumsy for a beginner to use the antistatic pouch in that way. And it you pounce it just to the point where it doesn't feel like a sticker anymore, the Dimensionals will still cling. At least I've found that to be true with SU's embossing buddy.
Busy lives sometimes require shortcuts such as premade bake goods or candy… but I really love making candy and baking for Christmas to help bring in the holidays!
I watch your videos while I wait in the car pick up line. I pick up the grandkids. Later I may rewatch if I have what you are using and follow along. You are always creative and think outside the box. You are an inspiration. God bless you and your husband this upcoming year with more good reports.
I’m watching this 11 months after you did it because of course it’s getting ready for Christmas cards again. I do have the envelopes and the cards so this is great for me I’m watching from British Columbia Canada. And I really appreciate all your creativity. So thank you for sharing, they are very nice cards.
Hello Rachel and Kayla. I am so please to hear that you husband is doing well. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers everyday. 🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖 I am from New South Wales Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Sorry I missed the live. I so enjoy your videos. You have such a pleasant and calm manner and I get so motivated to create after watching. You mentioned marching band. I, too, was a "band mom." My daughter was a percussionist and I was so proud of her and her band from Middletown South High School, Middletown, New Jersey. She majored in music education in college and has been an inspiration to so many students from K-12 teaching and also involved as a drum line instructor. I know off topic, but wanted to tell you how great of an experience marching band can be, although a huge commitment 🥁
My Christmas card list used to be about 100. I’m now down to 60. I’m from a large family. My thoughts were to do 10 cards of each design. Your ideas for these cards will definitely help this year.
Watching replay, with SU since 2004, Apex,NC. Have this bundle and looking forward to seeing your ideas. Thanks in advance of watching. Know I will get some great ideas!
Great ideas using the memories and more cards. Thanks for your ideas I have now done about 6 to send to my friends and family. I love watching all your videos. Thanks for sharing!! And I'm happy to hear about your family's news.
This is an amazing group of cards from one suite. You make it all look so easy. I have been working this type of. Crafting for a couple years now. My family was all crafting type people when I was growing up. I am retired from 28yrs as a school custodian & I love to play with my toys/tools. When I started making cards the glue was messy for me. I use the two sided dispenser tape alot more now. So much neater finish & I have learned to use liquid glue sparingly. Nice display of cards tonite.
Awesome! I will be crafting with the elders in my community at the senior center next month. The cards we will make will be given to 240 nursing home residents so I need lots of ideas. Thank you.
I never buy these sets. I bought the stamp set and the DSP but just wasn’t sure what to do with the rest of this. I want to say thank you! These cards are so quick and easy to make. I was able to make almost all of them in one evening (minus the last set). I feel like I’ve accomplished so much!
Great news on the hubby !!!! The C word is an awfully scary word.... so happy he has great news !!!!! Love watching your videos.... you are a wonderful teacher....
Thank you Nyoka. Yes, it never was a cancerous tumor (thank God). But it's still a tumor that will probably eventually have to be removed along with all that controls his hearing and balance. But for now, we wait. It's always good to stay put in some situations.
I was so bummed that I couldn't get back from my Dr. appt. I love the good news about your husband, prayers will continue. Wow that was a lot of cards. I had fun. Thank you.
