Hi priyanka, i feel you dont need to justify your answers, you are wht yiuvare and know whats good fr you, travelling all alone and doing things on your own is not eady especially for woman nowadays, i really appreciate your hard work and efforts and you a bought your own house in delhi which a very good thing, you have a place to stay, as you said delhi is best place as it has lots of connectivity for travelling. Life is about experiences. Getting from point A to B doesn’t mean a person is stepping back of have failed. Infact, the more experiences you have in life, the better you get. I really don’t understand why people be so harsh while passing comments on someone who deserves appreciation. Packing n moving itself is a huge huge task, needless tonsay owning an apartment in Delhi is tough. Cheers to the success!

Even my parents are from Bihar, I am born in Panchkula, have stayed in Patiala for 2 years and I am staying in Delhi since 2005 when I was 2 years old.

I have lived in shimla for 6 years........ I loved living there. had fond memories. but it was a hard station. even I had to go 3-4 times to Delhi( homecity) in a month. its diffucult but I loved the time I spent there. good memories.!! any thing other you disliked ?

I too have moved from Delhi to shimla. I am from HP.
Few things to note about living in shimla for a long time:
It is humid, clothes, walls, wood,cardboard papers everything catches moul and gives of smell all year round except for short summer time.
After a while it becomes boring, how many times can one go to mall road.
It is so freaking expensive, rent, food, cab cost etc everything is so expensive.
As an adult it becomes so difficult for us to make genuine new friends and it becomes lonely after a time.
It becomes depressing in monsoon and winters for real.
I too am planning to move back to NCR again and visiting my hometown and my in-laws place from time to time and traveling to other places from Delhi.
You have summarized it so well. Though a lot of these problems didn’t feel like a problem to me as I kept on traveling. So it was beautiful to come back home in Shimla after a long travel. But agree with everything you have mentioned :)

This was one of the best videos. We really love this motivational talk because it does inspire us to take action in our lives too. Most people don’t understand how it can difficult sometimes for a girl to live by herself and manage everything on her own which you have been doing so successfully. I have never ever travelled alone so this is very motivating to me. Also everywhere you go you are willing to pay money and spend . Unlike mountain trekker who is always looking for a free ride, free meal, free stay and if he doesn’t get it he starts bad mouthing those people which is so wrong. Especially in his US blogs he was at a truck stop and they did not give him a ride . And he was complaining. Which is so wrong. Because the companies don’t want their driver to give a lift to any stranger . What if that person is a serial killer. They have rules and protocols to follow.
Anyway I stopped watching his videos after that. Lol
But you are so confident without the arrogance. Very humble and you have made your passion and hobby in your work/job. Sometimes I wonder if you tube wasn’t there what most of you would have done. Of course you have your MBA to fall back upon.
Those negative comments may be from your close relatives too who are jealous of you because they can’t do something you are doing but can’t say anything to your face.
And yes you had explained why you were leaving shimla. Being in a big city has it own advantages . Like airport, train station, other amenities etc.
and that’s what life is all about. To keep moving. Most people will get stuck in a job they hate, in a loveless abusive marriage, is a situation which is non productive but they are to afraid to leave. So they remain there. Where as you took a stand made a decision and are living life on your own terms. Wow . Good job.
