There is nothing in Kozhikode, except overcrowded, narrow roads and arrogant drivers. Kozhikode has the worst roads in whole of Kerala, thanks to so many houses and shops built on roadside. But Wayanad and Munnar are beautiful and amazing.

Just had a Kerala trip...landed in Kochi, off to Munnar, followed by an Elephant bath at Thekkady and ending it with beautiful beaches at Alleppey. Loved Kerala❤

Geographically kerala become less greener after aluva, tropical evergreen canopy changes to tropical deciduous. Please note it in the next train trip north kerala is lot leaser green except some patches

I am from Kerala, My suggestion is you please walk through the paddy fields surrounded by coconut trees. This gives the real vibe of Kerala which no other state offers (Except North east). You will have great experience will walking in the middle of acres of acress of Farm field. ❤❤

Other than Varkala, Kolukumalai, Kuttanad, Thekkady everything else in kerala you can see in any major state in india. There is nothing amazing to see north of Aleppy and Idukki. Wayanad is just like Ooty or Kodaikanal. Beaches in North kerala are just like beach in Odisha or Karnataka.

Where they found Kerala centuries ago. In kannur you have the Malabar connection of Hinduism shared with Karnataka and the world's best meal,,,,,," odhens hotel". I'm a native and even I call this place Trivandrum half the time. The other half it's തിരോന്തരം. If you actually know Trivians you also know that none of us actually says "Thiruvananthapuram". We consider that as an easy way to differentiate Trivians from non locals.
