This show aired when I was a teenager and I absolutely loved it. I have been watching it back as a 30 year old and I see their relationship completely differently. I thought they were so cute and now I see the dysfunction.
You would watch the places they went, the outfits they wore, the cars they drove and the house they lived in, only to imagine you would have this too, when you grew up....Well at least that is what I would imagine when I was that age watching this show & the hills, real world, Vh1, BET, Music videos on TRL. I would come straight home from school and catch TRL, hoping that they didn't play the video I wanted to see before I got home because If you missed it, Then you missed it till next day/week.
I think having your best friend move in with you and your husband could definitely cause problems in a marriage. It's hard enough learning to live with each other let alone a third person and best friend.
i disagree..it most certainly depends on the type of person the best friend is as well as the dynamic of everyone meaning how they all get along. My bestie has lived with us before and my husband loves her. She could've stay as long as she liked. Nick was irritated with Cacee from the jump because she exuded Jessica's exact behavior and that was an issue big time.

As I look back now this was such a terrible marriage. To be so mean to your wife a smart ass not to open the door and make a rude comment about sex. He had no personality. Jessica could do so much better then him and did. God what Vanessa got!
