Cut it off, run in the opposite direction, treat it like a cancer coming after your body because that’s what it is. Even within many churches today and within Christian entertainment, there is a great deception, many wolves in sheep’s clothing. Lord Jesus give us discernment so we know what isn’t of you! Hi Dallas, well said! I think of Joseph in his youth choosing to run from the temptation of a seductress, sometimes it's as simple as turning away. So many things are labelled "Christian" today, but as you stated, we need discerning to judge what is right from wrong. So much deception that we have embraced in the name of tolerance and love. I had a similar dream, that I was in a secret room, and all the prominent people in the government and their families gathered. They were chanting some words I did not understand. The words unleashed spiritual forces, I covered my ears, and closed my eyes, and backed away. Then I woke up. We must be careful what we see, and what we listen to as well. The days are evil brothers and sisters, let's not feed the desire of our flesh.

Hi Nora, I appreciate your honesty, and Jesus received your prayer and you've been forgiven. Gossip and talebearing is such an easy trap to fall into, especially when others are prompting us on. I'm talking from my own experience and afterwards, the Holy Spirit convicted me which I'm thankful for. People can infect us with their cruel opinions of others, usually out of envy or jealousy. Always consider the character of those who spread gossip and malice. Avoid people who are always talking negatively about others and not speaking words of honour and blessing. God bless you, Nora, you have a good heart and that's what Jesus loves about you!
About 6 months ago, the Lord told me "guard your eyes and ears" I have never been a TV/movie person and so I was grateful, but still when a family member would turn it on, I would physically cover my eyes, leave, or ask them to turn it off. I have to be on guard as I do use TH-cam and instagram, but my prayer is Oh dear Lord, give me discernment to disinguish the ememies voice attacking my mind. I ask myself "is this from love?" if it is not, it is not from the Lord Jesus and then to take that thought captive and use what the enemy intended for evil (judging other/condemning/etc.) turn it into a prayer "Take heed lest you fall". Be vigilant during these last days!

Hey Mike tks for those words..have a question for you..I listen to a few guys on TH-cam all claiming to be of the Lord..some preaching some prophecising some went to heaven some waiting on the rapture TBH they all seem like nice people and equally you have nice people accusing them of being false.. I believe I am a good judge of character with the help of God but I find even I cannot tell who is honest and who is not.. People like Randy Kay Brandon biggs Tom from watchman River etc They all seem to come from America too Just wondering what your opinion is on this sort of stuff
Hi Des, some false teachers, prophets and preachers are quite obvious to those who are spiritually mature and skilled in the Word of God to discern the difference between truth and error (Hebrews 5:14). I believe all false prophets will eventually expose themselves, even as a fruit tree that is indistinguishable until the fruit appears, even as Jesus warned His Church that we would recognize them by their fruit. There are countless prophetic voices on TH-cam today, many are legit and many are not. I have my concerns about some of the claims they advertise in the spirit realm, that even go beyond the supernatural experiences of the powerful men and women of God in the Bible. In most cases, time will tell, and they will show their bad fruit. The best thing we can do is spend much time in the Word of God and become close to the heart of God, His ways and His thoughts. The truth will always set us free. As you noticed, I have not named names because I do not feel released to do so in this context. I have on occasion brought warning by name to my church family according to my responsibility before the Lord, but only when the Lord leads me to do so. The time is now at hand when God Himself will bring their dark hearts and deceptive words into the light to be exposed for who they truly are. Jesus warned many times that many false prophets would arise in the last days and deceive many. We do not need to fear deception as long as we continue to walk in truth, in humility and total dependance upon the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. I was considering lately the many dark situations, conversations and sights which surround us all day to day in this world, and lately. It has been bothering me as well regarding difficulties in proper responses. This word you brought is so timely! In the scriptures as you mentioned, the Lord reminds us to think on things which are just, pure and virtuous. I was also reminded of when Jesus came down the mountain, he met a leper. People always avoided the lepers, but Jesus touched him. The leper did not affect Jesus, but Jesus, in his grace affected the leper. The darkness is all around, and we should avoid it, but if we have it come upon us, the Lord is with us. Job 29:3 KJV This is another place for us to trust in the Lord, and fight the good fight of faith. I just want to warn people about games. We may be playing games that seem innocent enough, but have you noticed the advertisements for other games that play between game levels? Some of them are absolutely wicked! We aren't supposed to see things like that. I've had to stop playing games that weren't bad just because of the ads that played. There was another game I was playing that didn't seem bad at first, but then I noticed everytime I won coins it was always 666 coins. Just be on your toes, brothers and sisters! And for the record, I don't recommend playing games. It is a waste of time and something I personally struggle with. I am getting rid of my smart phone this Saturday and getting a dumb phone since I waste too much valuable time on stupid things. Blessings to all and please pray for me to overcome.

Nothing wicked in this world when we make it all about God. Because the even the wicked will be used for the glory of God. How much better when we are not phased by this world, because God's kingdom is greater.
People love gossip and if in a church and all are on board with it, it becomes okay to savor the enjoyment of looking down on someone and judging. I was caught in a moral failure, a sin, years ago. I was told by a pastor that visited me that it might be best if I didn't return. I did many times only to have the pew I sat in all move in unison and sit elsewhere. The other times I went I just was invisible. If I saw these people in public they would look the other way when we met or, if I spoke, would ignore me. The fact that I repented seemed unimportant as nobody ever bothered to find out. Years later I was rushed to the hospital when I lost my house in a fire, but heard nothing from any of them. I know the importance of forgiveness but it is difficult to forgive those who hate you and won't forgive you. I have, but after 25 yrs of this, it is difficult to believe I really have as it still seems there. I have made a confession to God to confess forgiveness for them, by faith, but the hurt is still there. I know that Christ will make it right someday soon and I won't have to live with this cloud over my head anymore.
Hi Max, thanks for sharing, that should never happen in a church. That is a terrible reproach against Christ. We are the body, we are to love one another and support each other, regardless of any failure. When God forgives, it is done. How shameful to hold a person's past sin that has been repented of and forgiven by God against them. They are hypocrites and woe to them. Max, don't worry if at times even years later, you don't feel like you've fully or sincerely forgiven those who wounded and despised you, it is an act of faith and God receives it based upon our heart. The wound is healed but the scar remains and serves as a reminder that as we've been forgiven, so we forgive those who trespass against us. God bless you, brother, God is the righteous Judge and He will do whar is just and right.
@@lightleadershipAmen....it's sad when the church doesn't honor God's forgiveness of others. I had something similar...they kept trying to get a testimony from me about a sin a lot of people came to know about...probably a community and far reaching...that's how it can be in smaller communities, but the Lord put it on my heart not to share that sin testimony that He had forgiven me for, because they wanted to have me speak it....to bring my forgiven sin back into everyone's memory and in everyone who maybe didn't know about it. I think deep down they didn't like that God had forgiven me for it and that I was so close to God and now had a peace about it...only because I knew He had mercy on me. This type of thing often brings the story Jesus told in Matthew 18:23-35, about the forgiven but unforgiving wicked servant. And the story about Jesus, the Pharisee, and the woman who was a sinner, in Luke 7:36-50. I'll just let everyone go to those in their Bible and see how they align with the man's comment...and mine as well. God bless you and your heart for the Lord and all others.
I understand, I've had some similar treatment. I put more about it under Mike's response to you so you can read that. I know it is a painful thing. But keep focusing on your believing that the Lord did forgive you. And it may help you to pray for each one...or as a whole, whichever helps....all those that treated you in the ways they did. You weren't treated with Christ- likeness but Christ would have you forgive them, love them, and pray for them. It sounds like you've forgiven. I believe the loving them and praying for them will bring much healing to you and your heart and mind. God bless you from a sister who has experienced similar treatment. Tammy
Thanks Mike, It just feels good to get it out there as it is difficult keeping it bottled up for all these years. The enemy didn't want me to share it as it may sound like I want pity, but there is healing, I believe, in confessing. Funny, but I never felt like sharing on all the other sites i visit, but I did yours. Maybe I felt comfortable in doing so as you come across sincere and honest, I guess. What really ministered to me was that you felt if I made a point by faith to forgive, then that was important part and not by my feelings that I didn't forgive. I have no church though I've looked for a long time but sites like yours are the next best thing and I do spend time every day in the Word. Thanks for your reply. These experiences and more I have mostly entrusted to this verse, :For I know who I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day."

Nothing wicked in this world when we make it all about God. Because the even the wicked will be used for the glory of God. How much better when we are not phased by this world, because God's kingdom is greater.

People love gossip and if in a church and all are on board with it, it becomes okay to savor the enjoyment of looking down on someone and judging. I was caught in a moral failure, a sin, years ago. I was told by a pastor that visited me that it might be best if I didn't return. I did many times only to have the pew I sat in all move in unison and sit elsewhere. The other times I went I just was invisible. If I saw these people in public they would look the other way when we met or, if I spoke, would ignore me. The fact that I repented seemed unimportant as nobody ever bothered to find out. Years later I was rushed to the hospital when I lost my house in a fire, but heard nothing from any of them. I know the importance of forgiveness but it is difficult to forgive those who hate you and won't forgive you. I have, but after 25 yrs of this, it is difficult to believe I really have as it still seems there. I have made a confession to God to confess forgiveness for them, by faith, but the hurt is still there. I know that Christ will make it right someday soon and I won't have to live with this cloud over my head anymore.
Hi Max, thanks for sharing, that should never happen in a church. That is a terrible reproach against Christ. We are the body, we are to love one another and support each other, regardless of any failure. When God forgives, it is done. How shameful to hold a person's past sin that has been repented of and forgiven by God against them. They are hypocrites and woe to them. Max, don't worry if at times even years later, you don't feel like you've fully or sincerely forgiven those who wounded and despised you, it is an act of faith and God receives it based upon our heart. The wound is healed but the scar remains and serves as a reminder that as we've been forgiven, so we forgive those who trespass against us. God bless you, brother, God is the righteous Judge and He will do whar is just and right.

I had something similar...they kept trying to get a testimony from me about a sin a lot of people came to know about...probably a community and far reaching...that's how it can be in smaller communities, but the Lord put it on my heart not to share that sin testimony that He had forgiven me for, because they wanted to have me speak it....to bring my forgiven sin back into everyone's memory and in everyone who maybe didn't know about it. I think deep down they didn't like that God had forgiven me for it and that I was so close to God and now had a peace about it...only because I knew He had mercy on me.
This type of thing often brings the story Jesus told in Matthew 18:23-35, about the forgiven but unforgiving wicked servant. And the story about Jesus, the Pharisee, and the woman who was a sinner, in Luke 7:36-50.
I'll just let everyone go to those in their Bible and see how they align with the man's comment...and mine as well.

I understand, I've had some similar treatment. I put more about it under Mike's response to you so you can read that.
I know it is a painful thing. But keep focusing on your believing that the Lord did forgive you. And it may help you to pray for each one...or as a whole, whichever helps....all those that treated you in the ways they did.
You weren't treated with Christ- likeness but Christ would have you forgive them, love them, and pray for them. It sounds like you've forgiven. I believe the loving them and praying for them will bring much healing to you and your heart and mind.

Thanks Mike, It just feels good to get it out there as it is difficult keeping it bottled up for all these years. The enemy didn't want me to share it as it may sound like I want pity, but there is healing, I believe, in confessing. Funny, but I never felt like sharing on all the other sites i visit, but I did yours. Maybe I felt comfortable in doing so as you come across sincere and honest, I guess. What really ministered to me was that you felt if I made a point by faith to forgive, then that was important part and not by my feelings that I didn't forgive. I have no church though I've looked for a long time but sites like yours are the next best thing and I do spend time every day in the Word. Thanks for your reply. These experiences and more I have mostly entrusted to this verse, :For I know who I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day."
