I was checking the repair costs and I just realized that the wall-e has a stock repair cost over 7k but the bmp 2m's stock repair cost doesn't even reach 2k, wtf Not sure about how much it rises after been spaded but the 6.7 US light tanks have a higher repair cost

The BMP2m's tandem ATGM can frontally pen every single top tier MBT in the game. It is the only IFV (as far as I know) that can fire it's ATGMS on the move. Gaijin needs to remove their head from their ass if they think this thing needed APFSDS.

Eh I disagree, BMP2m is a very situational vehicle, it's slow for a light vehicle and the missles aren't the quickest. They're also a pain to use in CQC because theyre on the side of your turret, most of the time if I fire them in CQC they just miss the target or hit a building. Its definitely 9.7 material or 10.0, but not 11.0
I main Sweden and can confirm that. 10.0 is 3 of the same IFVs and only one has rockets. The autoloader isn't infinite. The 40mm seems to pen less than the 30mm of the BMP.

i am a German main and i can't say that PUMA is a really good IFV. the low rate of fire, very little post pen damage of APFSDS. I don't like it that much. i prefer the bagelpanzer over it

I was a firm believer of the BMP-2M being moved up to 9.3 as it was, without the APFSDS. Given the circumstances I'm now a firm believer it needs to be moved up to 10.0. It has 4 ATGMs that can launch sequentially and while moving, that are also tandem charge warhead(U.S. has not a single tandem charge warhead, though they were the first to design and produce them; TOW 2A in 1987), not to mention pretty good thermals. Giving it APFSDS with the fire rate of the gun, has made it ridiculous. It's nearly impossible to win an one-on-one engagement against. Maybe I'm just a salty U.S. main or maybe there are others that agree with me

irl they lower the launcher when moving, but that's because of real life reasons which usually don't apply to WT except here then... I mean in WT you can strain your transmission all your like, no limitation, it's not going to break. Just like the launcher, it's not going to break in game, but you still have the limitations. TOWs can technically also be fired on the move, but in real life you probably aren't allowed to do it as the wire can be caught and make the missile do unpredicted movements or just lose the missile. At least there is no physical limitation. In WT this would mean they need to add the actual wire (Gaijin won't), which could be a nerf and buff at the same time, you won't be able to maneuver your missile behind trees or bushes well anymore, but can fire on the move.
When gaijint added BMP 2M it was 9.3 and is was so OP and then they bout it at 8.7 now they added HE anti everting missile and ABFSDS but just bout is to it’s original spot 9.3 , gaijnt do one step front two step back and fall from building.

Yeah, having just unlocked the Puma, it’s fun, but really only because of its survivability against autocannons and bad HEAT-FS. Otherwise, it’s worse in every way than the Puma, doesn’t get the hard kill protection, doesn’t get the ATGMs it both should have and has a slow ass cannon that comes with what feels like the single worst ammo belt in ground RB.

@@supadupashat The cannon rof is similar to that of the Bradley, TTK is very high if you don't get lucky initial hits, but the belt and pen itself are pretty good. Also it seems like Gaijin modelled overheating not based on rof but just assigned one generic value to all auto cannons. The lower rof autocannons overheat as fast as the high rof ones, despite having shot 2.5 times less rounds in that same time, very annoying indeed.
@@BoarhideGaming the problem with the puma is not that it is good it is that often I don’t die instantly and survive for a few seconds which is already annoying because I would rather get 1 shot rather than my barrel getting broke then either burned out of sideshotted after 30 seconds And 2 this is a more general problem but it seems like especially with American tanks when a auto cannon is shooting me I can’t aim back because all my screen is covered in the smoke from the impact and the target itself is obscured via its own smoke and even if I am lucky enough to survive and still be functioning I cannot see range , any blocking terrain angle of the vehicle so my shot is effectively a guess which added onto the fact that even if I manage to hit it 80% of it appeared to be empty space the ammo rack is nowhere to be seen the commander can take control of the gun with no issue and ultimately even with 105-152 mm apfsds it does nothing and I end up dead This is again more annoying than a normal tank because 1 I usually die instantly which is less annoying or 2 I can fire back and have some chance of killing it

Gaijin's fantasy world: BMP2M has a fully stabilized cannon that shoots APFSDS, has gen 2 thermals and gen 3 NV, has ATGMs, automatic grenade launcher and moves at neckbreaking speeds. Basically an elusive intangible avenger that can act as MBT, IFV, APC and recon. Reality: goes into battle with 30mm non stabilized cannon only. shoots HEI and HET rounds. has no thermals, often no radio and only gen 1 night vision if lucky. After first shot the barrel aims in the neighboring galaxy and follow up shots are next to impossible. Vehicle is slow on offroad terrain and tracks are extremely vulnerable to damage.

For real, I've been uptiering the BMP-2M into 9.7-11.0 anyway. The perfect lineup is using it to get your SU-7BMK and Mi-24V, as well as getting another MBT with modern thermals (TURMS) which the Russians lack at that BR. All they've done is given this thing APFSDS belts
Use conquerer to counter it (atgm kills u) use warrior (auto cannon kills u) use centurion (both kill you) use jets(both) heli (both) no winning is there. If u manage to kill it by sniping it, they'll come back with revenge jet or heli. So basically quit game as soon as you hear/see seems to work as effective counter

I got the BMP-2M yesterday and already have 10 helicopter kills lol I actually have more heli kills than tank kills, but that's mostly just me sucking at ground RB. I'm an air RB main.
You play Ground RB so well, you should do some updated tutorial/tips video. I've been away from tanks since 2018, and then I tried to come back just to realize that everything changed and I suck
The problem is tactics. In WT, there is no infantry support for the enemy killing you with drones and javelins because you don't have any because your general is drunk and doesn't understand combined arms warfare.

Only for last 8 years... this game did not have most of its problems when ground forces were introduced into the game and on top of that Russian tank got proper weak spots and amount of bias was limited. After Months of grinding for TAM I got finally tomorrow PUMA (since they added before it meanwhile) so I played PUMA little bit and was surprised how many BMP-2Ms I met. Now it make sense.

I was joking with my squadronmates that I'd fix the BMP-2M by giving it the APFSDS it has for the 30mm and moving it up to 10.0. Never I imagined I'd be so accurate about what's going to happen. Now only the BR needs to increase and it'll be fine.
I usually play this tank at 11.0 because it is honestly more fun to play at that BR anyway. I think the new round is fine to add, but this should go up to 10.0 or 10.3
And it is unrealistic. The PUMA has way better rounds (in RL; and not just a bit like in game) than this Soviet coffin. Making the Russian vehicles unevenly stronger than they should be just shows how stupid pro-Russian the devs are...

The bmp2 neaded to go up but they didn't need to buff it at the same time. I'd say with the new round it should go up to 9.7 at least
But it's still better than the 30mm dardo which is at 9.7. Should go 10.0 atleast. (TBF even the 9.3 dardo is better than the 9.7 variant).

If you're not using the HE missile on the BMP you're using it wrong. Overpressure almost everything easily, kill helicopter without a problem

There is a CIWS version of the A10s Gau8 that fires apfsds. Can't use it in the A10 because the sabot pieces might get ingested into the engines.

It’s funny that they are saying that the Puma is as good. While being much larger due to not working MUSS. While being less maneuverable. While having a slower firing cannon. While not having access to ATGMs (btw, the BMP can fire while on the move)
Yeah, having just unlocked the Puma, it’s fun, but really only because of its survivability against autocannons and bad HEAT-FS. Otherwise, it’s worse in every way than the Puma, doesn’t get the hard kill protection, doesn’t get the ATGMs it both should have and has a slow ass cannon that comes with what feels like the single worst ammo belt in ground RB.
@@BoarhideGaming agreed, the rate of fire needs to be just a tad higher, also the cannon overheats? That's bullshit, it's water cooled and engineered to not overheat. Gib Spike for Puma
@@supadupashat The cannon rof is similar to that of the Bradley, TTK is very high if you don't get lucky initial hits, but the belt and pen itself are pretty good. Also it seems like Gaijin modelled overheating not based on rof but just assigned one generic value to all auto cannons. The lower rof autocannons overheat as fast as the high rof ones, despite having shot 2.5 times less rounds in that same time, very annoying indeed.
@@BoarhideGaming the problem with the puma is not that it is good it is that often I don’t die instantly and survive for a few seconds which is already annoying because I would rather get 1 shot rather than my barrel getting broke then either burned out of sideshotted after 30 seconds
And 2 this is a more general problem but it seems like especially with American tanks when a auto cannon is shooting me I can’t aim back because all my screen is covered in the smoke from the impact and the target itself is obscured via its own smoke and even if I am lucky enough to survive and still be functioning I cannot see range , any blocking terrain angle of the vehicle so my shot is effectively a guess which added onto the fact that even if I manage to hit it 80% of it appeared to be empty space the ammo rack is nowhere to be seen the commander can take control of the gun with no issue and ultimately even with 105-152 mm apfsds it does nothing and I end up dead
This is again more annoying than a normal tank because 1 I usually die instantly which is less annoying or 2 I can fire back and have some chance of killing it

They would literally make an entire BR bracket completely unplayable. Fire and forget ATGMs have no place in the game for now.
Idk . From playing time whit BMP2M and similar russian same gun variants . I can say that even the regular AP can kill everything by side .
it has a TON better angled pen, that means you can pen things at higher angles and not just side on...

Gaijin's fantasy world: BMP2M has a fully stabilized cannon that shoots APFSDS, has gen 2 thermals and gen 3 NV, has ATGMs, automatic grenade launcher and moves at neckbreaking speeds. Basically an elusive intangible avenger that can act as MBT, IFV, APC and recon.
Reality: goes into battle with 30mm non stabilized cannon only. shoots HEI and HET rounds. has no thermals, often no radio and only gen 1 night vision if lucky. After first shot the barrel aims in the neighboring galaxy and follow up shots are next to impossible. Vehicle is slow on offroad terrain and tracks are extremely vulnerable to damage.

For real, I've been uptiering the BMP-2M into 9.7-11.0 anyway. The perfect lineup is using it to get your SU-7BMK and Mi-24V, as well as getting another MBT with modern thermals (TURMS) which the Russians lack at that BR. All they've done is given this thing APFSDS belts
now its at 10.0 and feels much better there. 10.7 wouldnt be a bad idea but it will still perform just as well imo
Use conquerer to counter it (atgm kills u) use warrior (auto cannon kills u) use centurion (both kill you) use jets(both) heli (both) no winning is there. If u manage to kill it by sniping it, they'll come back with revenge jet or heli. So basically quit game as soon as you hear/see seems to work as effective counter
What? You shouldn't be seeing bmp 2m with conqueror, centurion and warrior. These are 7.3/7.7/8.0

The problem is tactics. In WT, there is no infantry support for the enemy killing you with drones and javelins because you don't have any because your general is drunk and doesn't understand combined arms warfare.

Only for last 8 years... this game did not have most of its problems when ground forces were introduced into the game and on top of that Russian tank got proper weak spots and amount of bias was limited.

I got a pretty good headset and i can hear them sometime but most the time i just hear the friendly tanks that all across the map. oh just a FYI thanks for the videos I have become a lot better at ground rb since watching you're videos i wasn't good at ground rb i really only did air rb. so thanks for all the tips and trick i learned from you.

I was joking with my squadronmates that I'd fix the BMP-2M by giving it the APFSDS it has for the 30mm and moving it up to 10.0. Never I imagined I'd be so accurate about what's going to happen. Now only the BR needs to increase and it'll be fine.

I usually play this tank at 11.0 because it is honestly more fun to play at that BR anyway. I think the new round is fine to add, but this should go up to 10.0 or 10.3
And it is unrealistic. The PUMA has way better rounds (in RL; and not just a bit like in game) than this Soviet coffin. Making the Russian vehicles unevenly stronger than they should be just shows how stupid pro-Russian the devs are...
If they are going to keep the apds fs, it should be 9.7 or higher. Either wise remove the apds fs and keep it at 9.3
