I was looking for something mellow to listen to tonight and decided to try you again on youtube. Now I know why you were with The Mountain Goats...your lyrics are phenomenal. Brilliant, I thought nobody could out-do Kirsten Hersh, but Mothers have re-invented all the good things that the Throwing Muses provided in cerebral alternative music.
I love how she plays very similar chords but in different scales and turns them into very unique songs.
I really love their sound.
