  • Cattle at a feedyard receive a balanced diet formulated by ruminant nutritionists. Cattle have a ruminant digestive system which means they can eat different foods than monogastrics like humans, and they have different nutrient requirements for their diet. Cattle Empire nutritionist Dr. Tim Murphy explains the different components of the cattle's diet and what nutrients they provide.

Sir, how much meat, protein, sugar, minerals are required in one kg of granular food of cows. And it would be nice to know what food is available. To fatten the cows

"We feed the cows more starch (grain) so that they get fat because thats what the consumer wants. Too much acid in the diet is dangerous for the animal. Its a fine line. We want what is most desirable for the consumer.." It sounds like a mass production pharm to me. What ever happened to GRASS what God designed them to eat?

@@AztecJimmy Do you want to eliminate factory farming? Do your part and raise your own bull, cows, and calves. Find out how much longer it takes to finish them out and how much it costs to feed and house livestock that way. People say that they want this and won't pay more for the finished product. And hat's off to you if you are already trying to make the difference.

I love healthy fat beef, It definitely helps my keto and fasting lifestyle. Vegetarian and vegan actually are eating cattle feed, like from grains, wheat grass, alfalfa, and other not meant for human consumption.
