Finally. A truly wonderful rendition of this song. I heard it in church 25 years ago and have never been satisfied with other renditions until now. Exceptional.
I have sang in the original choir of Dr. James Moore and of course the premiere of An Irish Blessing ... I have heard many versions and have never been satisfied, since today I know that there is a choir that has the sound, the feeling, the spirit of this wonderful piece perfect to sing ... congratulations, TOP
Ja großartig gesungen. Ich würde mir nur eine ruhigeres Dirigat wünschen. Der Sopran klingt wunderbar. Warum verzichtet man das auf das hohe G? Aber, toller Chorklang.
I sing this every year at my school's graduation ceremony in a choral octet, and every year without fail, it leaves me in tears. It's simply the most beautiful choral piece ever written, lyric wise and music wise - utterly fantastic
Hey the ones I'm speaking to know who I mean. All you from the Chor.👋 We are supposed to sing this on camera and I'm excited. Hope we all do well. And hope everyone is happy and healthy in these times. Have fun recording. 😁
I heard this lovely piece recently on the last night of a choral festival in Spain, which made it special coming from Ireland! Your version here is just excellent!
Just out of curiosity, do you remember the name of the choir that sang it? I sing in a choir who went to a choral gathering in Spain 3 years ago and we sang this.
celestial, maravilloso yo lo estoy aprendiendo a cantar dentro de un coro y es muy hermosa esta experiencia, además un reto cantar así de hermoso como ellos lo hacen
I had this song on my wedding day, sung by my sister. The church was built around 1133. this song gives me goosebumps, so beautiful.
This song was played on my aunt funeral. She died at 54 from cancer. I miss her everyday, i love her so much. May she rest in peace.

What a wonderful rendition of this piece. The tempo, the atmosphere, the setting, everything is just perfect. Bravo everyone!
At our Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, we would sing this when someone was leaving town. We had Dr. Moore play and conduct it!
this is the song we sang together with my friends who are about to go back to USA, 2019.....wish them all the best and in good health
Wonderful Blessing like place where we Will met our lost some day. Thank you...redgards from Sarajevo.
평탄한 길 열리고 순풍이 불도록 하소서. 당신 얼굴에 햇살 비치고 향기가 땅을 적시니. 다시 만날때까지 다시 만날때까지. 주의 보호하심이 있기를..
This version is amazing - and so well sung. Can’t get tired of listening to it. Excellent work

@@whitemountain_ It was a German choir and the festival was in Calella just north of Barcelona.

Very beautiful. Why are they singing "oooh oooh" instead of the second verse? Is this a special version of the song or just an idea of the conductor?
As much as I know about the scores given to the choir the second verse was absent. That's why the choir chose to sing "oooh" instead.
That'll do just fine.
