- It's here!!!! The second season of Ndani TV's hit web series, Gidi Up is finally here and our online viewers are the first to get a glimpse of it.
Gidi Up is a thrilling adventure centered around the lives of four friends in pursuit of happiness, success and independence. However, a few wrong choices quickly turn their Lagos dreams into a Gidi nightmare.
In this first episode - 'To Techserve', the group sends forth Dereick as he relocated to Port Harcourt and Tokunbo's friend - Charles - throws him a dinner party to celebrate the funding for his start up.
And for the question we all had after the epic end of season 1: Is Folarin dead? Well, You'll just have to watch to find out!!

I am Jamaican, but I watch Ndani TV, religiously. I am literally hooked, my son's dad is Liberian and he does not watch half as much as me, lol. Keep up the good work. I loved seeing Tiwa as well, she is one of my favorite actress.

At first i was a little skeptical about the change in characters but after watching all the episodes I absolutely love it!!! The cast now is PERFECT! I can't even imagine it any other way...and that OB is one hell of a hottie lol...I'm here for it, great job.

I am so impressed with this production. Extremely imaginative and perfectly directed. The casting is good and the soundtrack even better. Big ups to Ndani TV, The Gidi up crew and GT Bank. Naija is proud of you guys.

Now noticing the change of characters made the film loose something I guess those in charge didn't see....

Amazing start to the new season but why change the actors :( I miss the other Eki. Kudos though!
We changed a few of the actors for a couple of reasons but we think if you give them a chance you just might grow to like them!
yes i def like them plus you chose substitutes that are quite similar to the old ones. So it doesn't really disturb the story telling. really impressed by the cinematography and hope this continues as a template for Nigeria's movie industry in the future. great work Ndani tv

Change of characters, not a problem for me, so long the actors do their scripts right. Cinematography, I give an A, room for improvements though. Thumbs up guys, welcome development in the industry.

I didn't see the first season so I can't comment about the story line but the directing is great. Would have been better if the episode was longer too.

So I will say again, simply because it is my opinion and no one else's, even though it has been said before and most importantly because I want to piss off all the "stop complaining gang" here.....WHEW!!! The change of cast WAS a bad move. I like the former Eki. The new one is too stiff. Rhecks for the win biko. Obi's change is just there too. OC is just too ummm, what's the word...TUSH for that role! I know I came late, and my opinion may be insignificant now. Nevertheless, you weren't suppose to have changed the season 1 characters like that, even if they are deceased, to assume the worst. You could have started another drama or a sequel.
It happens all the time, the actors and producers couldn't meet an agreement, so, they were replaced. Its actually a pretty common occurrence in tv shows, and whats the point of rewriting a whole drama when viewers are already in love with the original ones?
It happens all the time and affects nothing so long they are still in sync
