great stuff.. the micros (MES) have been great to trade after hours from 6oopm est to 930-100pm since they have come out.. for a guy like me who has a 9-5 the micros have been a god send. ALSO i usually wait about 5-10 after that crude report on wednesday because that shit be zipping around right after
Hello are u still having success in after hours trading the micros ?
Nice job! very simple and easy to understand. Thank you!
Thanks a lot man. Very informative.
While RTH are great if that's your timezone, some of the extended Globex times move well too, although on much smaller volume. Asian morning (8-10pm NY time) and European open (4am-7am) usually offer some good trends, nothing like the volumes in the ideal NY times you have mentioned but definitely tradeable with patience. Asian afternoon is okay only rarely. Have noticed frequently how CL activity dies at the pit close until the Asian morning time.
You bring up a great point Dean! Outside of the RTH, the European open is the next most volatile part of the session and has been offering great opportunity in recent weeks! Our trading room happens to run during both the European open (3a-5am) and the US Open (930 am - 12pm) so regardless of your timezone, there is always an opportunity! Thanks for the chat! Cheers -Mark
waht futures you trade asia morning and for european morning
very good detailed explanation. Thanks
0:09 is exactly what i did ... got the coffee too🤣🤣
Great info ! Began trading Futures, after 15 years of trading equity options, THANKS !
How did that go for you and how did you learn?
@@muzzygully3144 like most things in life, you learn from losing money until you get it right. Took me close to 5 years. I worked for a major bank for 17 years, but I really learned when I opened my own account. Hope this helps !
Great info 👍 thanks.
Thank you! Nice breakdown!
Thank you for watching Siva. Glad you liked our video :)
The crude oil report needs to be carefully navigated as well as the last 15 min of trading. Extremely dangerous times.
You are absolutely correct! It can be dangerous trying to navigate the EIA report on your own, that's why we suggest doing it within a community of experienced traders! Thanks for taking the time to comment! Have a lovely weekend! - Mark

CME is giving me different trading hours….I’m confused
Just enough time for a cigarette
You mean to tell me that in a 23 hour trading span (futures) only 2 hours out of those 23 hours is the best time to trade? 🙄
Listen, you can trade anytime, just sometimes there is less movement then others, you can trade from 7 to about 9am and you'll make some money, trading after 6pm till about 9pm is slow, from 9pm till about 6 am you have some action, just depends what you're looking for, but to narrow it down to only TWO hours a day, come on, stop.
Yes you can trade from any time, just these are the most active in terms of volume.
Also depends on the time zone, but I do agree with you
Need to change heading - to ‘when you can trade’ not to ‘best times’ - probably an idea to get one of your superiors to go over your video’s, before releasing them 🤔
haha what
Very Helpful!! Thanks!
