Thank you so much! And yeah, Elvis did a lot for them over the years - we're hoping to do deeper looks (looking at all sides) of the people around Elvis as the channel grows, to give a fuller picture.
Sadly, both Judy and Sonny have passed. Steve and Ann got to know them very well over the years, which is very lucky for fans, since Steve can share those with us!
@TS-gg9dk Oh, it's all good - I didn't assume anything bad, just saying. I met Steve around 2000 or so, though I'd seen him at an Elvis Week in the 90s. But I've been a fan basically since I was born, lol (my dad was also a big fan, we did two episodes with him - Larry Kelley - and even showed some of his 8mm footage!)
@@EAPSociety I was at Elvis Week and visited Graceland as far back as 1991. I live in Scandinavia and went with an arranged fan club travel. I read a book by a Swede called Bruno Tillander. Maybe you guys could interview him on the show. He writes that he even worked at Graceland at the gates for a while in spring of ’77.
@@TS-gg9dk Oh, very cool! I went to every Elvis Week between 1984 (I was 4 that year, lol) and 2004, so I might have seen you there! :) And we actually took a look at that book for an episode, but I think we ended up not using it - Bruno has some... unique perspectives/conclusions on the cultural side with Elvis that we think are pretty far off the mark. But his experiences as a gate guard would be interesting!
thanks for showing us this documents
You're very welcome! Lots more to come in future episodes, too!

Same last name for Jamie and Steve a coincidence or not?
Funny enough, just a coincidence! We think of Steve as family, but we're not related, at least as far as we can tell!
@ Wouldn’t have anything against it, thought maybe he is an uncle or something who helped you into the Elvis Universe.🙂
