@@Dmccraw1998 They are much faster than this video when empty or bobtailing. Most likely the truck was loaded judging by the sound the engine made, or the driver was just very light on the throttle.
I mean the thing is pretty quick for hauling 80k lbs. They aren’t really meant to be fast.. the transmissions slow em down so much lugging through those big gears.
Never had a chance to run an automatic or any of the new def engines have always driven older engines I like how quick the rpms drop and how low the torque is on these new trucks, here in Washington and Oregon and British Columbia it's all hills and it's a pain in the ass taking off on 6% to 12% grades hauling over 100k pounds since the rpms drop off so slow and the gearing is so low and the power curve is at the top end you pretty much have to ram it in through the first couple gears and hope it'll pull you up
Well... obviously my truck is a turd. I have the exact same truck and did a 0-60. Posted it on my channel...did about the same time except....my truck was empty. Plus I was in performance mode
One eternity later
The important thing is that it gets to 60 lol
Reminds me of how I drive in American truck simulator.
you gotta take off traction control lol
Slow as balls. Hope you are towing a loaded log trailer.
Semi trucks aren’t meant to be fast 🤣

Said fully loaded in the description.

Were you seriously wide open throttle?
Nice! Sort of... How long did it take to get to 60?
Around a minute
watch the video you degen
My Cascadia hits 60 wayyyy faster than that when bobtailing or empty. This dude is 100% fully loaded
economy? doesn't it have a sport+ button, and TC off lol
Really love the sound of the Cascadia engine.
The new Detroit's are probably the most reliable emissions engines too.
Me too
What the sound of the engine fan? 😂😂😂
What sound? Sounds like a broke air conditioner
@@mattmo8611 Ok.
What motor???
My lawnmower has more guages

These newer automated’s are usually geared super low too. You’ll often see a DT12 in direct drive with 2.28-2.85 rears.
@@zacharybishop6595 damn that's what the old bull haulers would run to do 100 through the flats, mines at 4.10
Yea it’s a truck but that’s slow AF
This is a swift truck. PasSmart gives it away.
Should of started off in 5th gear probly shave a few sec😂

Ram SRT10 finally meets its match. This thing is a rocket
Maybe with less weight it’ll go faster.
At least the transmission in the cascadia wont blow up.
@@evilredBorisram srt10 has a tremec. I don’t think so
@@Rival1998only on the single cab though.
It needs an iShift to go more fast
The DT-12 is still solid though, but I agree an iShift is still better
Im assuming and automatic?
Nope..... shifting no gud. Driver ain't expert
Say that to the transmission.
Its an auto dummy
why would you do 0-60 in eco...
Trust me performance is not much better
Why would you do this in Economy mode? Does your truck not have Performance mode?
Company truck, can't switch settings
