All very nice plants. Anthuriums can be addictive for sure. Just ask me.. lol ive been growing them for many years now and have so so many. It is easier when you buy them smaller because they get used to our home environments easier. I grow all of mine in open in my house. No tents or cabinets at all but i do run a humidifier and keep it at about 50% humidity in my home and they do great. Anthuriums are also big feeders. I feed mine everytime i water with a very weak solution of the fertilizer I use which is superthrive. I heard you mention putting them into 2 size up pots. Id be very careful with rhat because you can rot the roots easily. Its already tricky because they do not like to dry out at all. Not trying to seem like a know it all just trying to help you out since your new with Anthuriums. And i also grow in ohio which is much different than how other people grow in their climates. It took me a while to learn to grow them my way in my home. Good luck with your buy ban.n😊😊😊 i say that all the time and here comes another plant. 😅😅😅 anyways. Good luck with all of your beautiful 😍 babies.ni also have many queens but im done buying anymore. And the Bessea you got i have her. She is beautiful 😍 one of my top favs in my collection. She grows very fast and mine has made me 2 babies so far which im just thrilled about because she is such a beauty with those dark leaves !!! I cant stop starring at her all day long. Good luck and take care of those beauties. And enjoy

Thank you so much!! Your advice is very welcome here! I am slowly learning what they like and I also live in Ohio. Anthuriums are not difficult as some folks have said; I don’t put them under grow lights (well I am experimenting with some) to see how they do. I am not having to much luck with the Bessea is it slow growing for you? It’s been a little over a month since I made this video, so I guess that really isn’t long enough. 😆
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel!

@LeafyConversations no my bessea grows fast for me. But give her time. After shipping sometimes they take some time. She might be working on roots. And I agree anthuriums really are not that hard once you figure out the lighting and feed and humidity.

You may already know since you film way in advance but the Andean Queen is an Ecugenera Hybrid they are a plant importer and all over the world Ecugenera Queen is one of their queen crosses. the other part of that cross is Querelmense and it does get long petioles with a fat ruffly leaf. The Andean seems to have the Querelmense characteristics with the waroq veining when mature. Querelmense is a beautiful specimen though and can grow large and somewhat strappy over time.
