วันนี้ย้ายเกาะจากโบรากายไปที่เมืองเซบู ซึ่งเคยเป็นเมืองหลวงของประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ในสมัยที่สเปนปกครอง ซึ่งการเดินทางไปครั้งนี้ผมมีเป้าหมายจะไปที่เมืองออสลอบ Oslob เมืองใต้สุดของเกาะเซบู ที่นี่มีกิจกรรมหนึ่งที่ได้รับความนิยมสุดๆนั่นก็คือ การว่ายน้ำกับฉลามวาฬ
แต่กิจกรรมนี้ก็โดนแบนและโดนแอนตี้หนักมากๆ เพราะฉลามวาฬพวกนี้ไม่ได้มาอยู่ตามธรรมชาติแต่พวกมันโดนคนล่อเข้ามาโดยโยนเหยื่อล่อ ซึ่งเป็นการทำลายระบบนิเวศของมันมากๆ

i really like your travel vlogs because you are so good in bargaining,even I as a local would just give up eventually because I don't like the hassle specially with airport taxis🥲😭 i think it just comes naturally with Thailand having this bargain culture too just like philippines. There’s also Whale shark swimming in Donsol, Sorsogon. The Whales are not fed, they go free, so its hard to catch them, and the rate to hire Bangka or a boat to chase them in middle of the sea is more expensive than in Oslob. Others may not agree, but we consider it Win-win tourism, Whale shark dont become pest to Fishermen & they dont have to be killed, and other fishermen get additional Jobs as Tour guides for Whale shark swimming.

Internet installations are a lot of challenge for archipelago (countries with thousands of islands like Indonesia and the Philippines because the internet fibers have to be installed underwater. Other countries like Thailand there will be much less challenges because the geography is landlocked. Perhaps in the near future our internet challenges can be addressed.
That will change once starlink comes

Hello, i watched your videos🤗 Cebu and Manila actually speaks different language. Since the Philippine island is divided into 3 major islands/ region, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Luzon is where Manila is and the biggest Island, and speaks one language and that is Tagalog, meanwhile the, meanwhile Visayas and Mindanao, majority speaks Bisaya. So basically there are two widely spoken languages in the philippines and that is Bisaya and Tagalog. I am from the the Visayas region so I speak Bisaya, but we Bisaya can also speak and understand Tagalog since it is the language used on national tv but tagalog people cannot understand bisaya. Although their are similar words.
U mean dialect not language, and in Visayas people don't speak bisaya they speak Cebuano and people in Luzon don't speak only one dialect, there are a lot of different dialect too in Luzon.. But most people can understand Tagalog bc that's the national language of the Philippines. Are u a Filipino? I much sound Filipino than u tho.🤣
@@leebloom789 No, before correcting someone look up the definition and difference between language and dialect. Cebuano/Binisaya and Tagalog are two different LANGUAGES. The OG was right when he/she said language. They are separate languages because of the fact that they are not mutually intelligible. A tagalog cannot understand cebuano and a cebu native who only speaks cebuano will not understand tagalog.
A dialect means that it is the same language spoken in different regions but with variation in accent, some words etc but are still mutually intelligible. Examples are Batangueno Tagalog, Bulakenyo Tagalog.
Binisaya in Cebu and Binisaya in Davao. I also came from a region in Mindanao that speaks cebuano but our dialect is slightly different from that of Cebu or Davao.

I went to Cebu and Bohol last month for vacation. I'm a Filipino myself but i find it really hard to travel alone especially if you don't speak Bisaya. 😅 But it was a nice experience, the beaches are nice.Almost the same with Boracay. Never swam that much in my whole life.

The whale sharks knew that they are going to be fed there that’s why they keep coming back. I read blogs before coming there that it’s the disappointing part of tourism in Oslob but I think, It’s their (whale sharks) choice. They’re not being kept. They are not wary of people because they think of us as their feeders. That’s what I noticed when I went there in 2019. Just like you, one of the whale sharks’ fin hit my butt and it feels so soft and slimy haha! Their stay is limited. When they feel full, they swim away somewhere in the vast ocean and just goes back during feeding time.
I have actually watched videos on what's wrong with feeding animals like this. It's terrible if they are constantly being fed as they become dependent on humans for their food which may not be bad but it can really endanger them by taking their natural instinct of surviving independently in the wild and also if they become overweight by being fed too much well that can harm their health and can initially die.
If you watch the video the lady explained that people use to fish there but since there are a lot of whalesharks and eat the fish fishermen fishes instead of wooing them away they made it as a tourist spot.
It used to be worse. Fishermen used to catch whale shark and cut the to pieces. Feeding them now is a way lesser evil than before.
I really like your notes at the very end of your videos. It's more heartfelt, and made me feel that you really enjoyed your trips. It also made me want to pursue what I want, and not what other's what they want to see from you.

When we visited Bangkok we did not do budget traveling😂 We just paid everything and not even do bargain. In Philippine peso value, Thai food is 2x expensive. But in terms of accommodation, you can find half cheaper in Thailand. We only take grab when we went there so I can't compare the transpo.

If you want to experience swimming with whale sharks again but in an ethical way, go to Donsol! There you will literally have to find the whalesharks which sometimes take 30 minutes before you can swim with them. They're not being fed close to the shore, so there's the thrill and excitement of spotting a whale shark and swimming with them!

2:19 the hotel behind you is where I stayed in 2019! I’m going to Cebu again in October. Seeing this, I get hyped! Cebu is one of the best places to visit in the country, you’ll get to experience both city and beaches, unlike Manila. The foods are amazing too!
