Dang brother! That’s tough. We have all been there. I know you’re at the top of the game. I have been there as well and felt that same feeling on a smaller club tournament losing by 1oz. You are still the man and one of the best in the business. Keep grinding my man and continue being the hammer we all know you are!!!
OMG!!! Dude freaking ounces that really hurts but man I’ve fished two tournaments this year and had a fish to die every tournament because of the tag’s getting stuck glad i watched this video gonna fix that problem this weekend. Exciting tournament I was there riding around watching so cool. Next time

I absolutely hate all the new fangled cull tags out there these days. I’ve lost more fish on the all the punctureless tags than any other reason. I don’t remember losing any fish from the old school tags. I just don’t use any cull tags now. It just takes me longer to cull. Sorry for the rant it’s just something that’s changed for the worse IMO. Great job and at the end of the day you can hold your head high because you had the fish to win.

Not the ending you wanted and that's just a tough tough break to have at the very end, but it was still an incredible tournament buddy. Kyle keeps on killing it with the videos, but you certainly make things easier for him 😂

Had the same thing happen to me, (granted the event was not as big as an Elite event) but now I don't use cull tags on grinder events.
