  • In this webinar, the results of the study on Why and How to integrate Social Protection (SP) and Child Protection (CP), particularly through the Social Services Workforce (SSW) were presented. This systematic and integrated response of SP and CP can improve the results and efficiency of both SP and CP, by contributing to the improvement of coordination, increasing the ability to respond to social protection's complex needs, resilience, and human resources efficiency (Sheahan, F. 2011). The integrated response has the potential to enhance impacts in non-monetary areas of well-being, help to increase the coverage of CP schemes, and allow a better distribution of resources and planning of the workforce to provide SP and CP’s services.
