Do you put the vitreous back in, or is the cavity left empty? If left empty does that cause further issues?

Thanks for this as I am experiencing a vitreous hemorage. Curious why you had to have this recorded interview in the middle of an active tea party of 25 all talking at the same time?

I had an eye accident almost a month ago it was hit by a rubber band used in exercise and I have this floater in my eye that looks like a redish ink or seeweed floating originating from the medial canthus of my right eye whenever I look to the right. My ophthalmologist referred me to a retina specialist and he diagnosed me to have a vitreous hemorrhage? I need to have ff up with him after a month because he can't visualize my periheral retina right temporal area. I only experience this annoying floaters but I don't see flashers of lights nor curtain nor shadows. But my vision is still blurred my visual acuity is 20/50.
My question doctor is how will I know if this is only vitreous hemorrhage due to trauma or a peripheral retinal detachment? Because I had a BScan OCT and a Fundus photo and it shows that my retina is attached?
How long usually will it take for my body to absorb the blood in my vitreos humour?
    Thank you.

soygeorel an exercise rubber band hitting your eye. Boys they need to have more precautions labeled or best to wear helmets when exercising. Such a wall up man I hope you better. Our eyes are so delicate. We never know what something like this might happen. I had a friend we had an exercise rubber band like this injure some other part of her body she joined a class action against this exercise company for making a faulty. non foolproof exercise equipment.. so we learn by our mistakes I hope. It's always best to read other people's mistakes and learn from that good luck take care Happy New Year
