I never knew what people with this disease went through go through on a daily basis. This film had me in an emotional rollercoaster such a tear jerker!! To those that have to deal with this terrible disease my thoughts & prayers are with you all! Praying for a cure soon! Love this movie. Much love to you All.😢

I think this actor will go far! It’s such a responsibility to act out this kind of character and for such a young guy too, he did it really well. I like how his character is so likeable and sweet at the same time as it shows how having schizophrenia doesn’t make you a bad or scary person, which a lot of people still think to this day unfortunately. My mother had schizophrenia and could be hard to deal with at times, but she was also very sweet natured, generous and had a great sense of humour.

I saw it yesterday and man!!! What a good movie!
It’s still impossible to put yourself in the shoes of a schizophrenic patient but it gives insight.
I love that it’s a very mundane story, unlike other movies before it. And Charlie, again, puts down a great character. This guy impressed me as a kid in King Jack, And then Lean on Pete and that movie his dad dies and his mom slides into depression and he runs the household (forgot the nam). He’s such an amazing drama actor.

I agree so much with Taylor’s assessment of how their characters had their own sense of privacy ripped away, especially when Adam finds out she doesn’t live in a big fancy house and they’re struggling with bills..that’s one of my favorite scenes, though in the book that’s where they had their first kiss not at the movie in the park.
