    Hi Henry, you could have put some copper slip on the threads of the track rods, if you don't want to take them off , spray some oil lightly over the threads and wrap some denso tape around to stop corrosion

    Hi Henry, I find heating until glowing with a mapgas blow torch and a pair of stillsons gets most seized track rod ends moving. At a push a heat gun works but takes much longer.

      Thanks Bob, I did give it a good go with a torch but not till glowing. I guess it needed more

    Ah you have my empathy... just did this job on my MG.... lots of heat and smacking the hell out of it them off in the end.
    Re died the thread as the track rod threads were rusted through and can't get new track rods anywhere. Not comfortable with the result as the TREs don't feel massively positive on the new threads.
    Only went in due to break squeal, now three weeks and 250 quid later...😂
