As an owner of a few Aero P. AR rifles, they are quality, reliable, and fun to shoot for a very fair price. Since they don't come assembled you get to decide what you want etc... very nice
Your description of the upper is technically incorrect it is not a GI styled A2 upper receiver. It is an A3 styled upper. The A2 receiver did not feature a detachable rear sight assembly with pictainy rail for optics under the receivers' detatchable rear sight assembly . The A3 upper did, along with the F marked front sight base . The M4 was the carbine version of the Militarys A3 upper with optics mounted and shortened barrel and collapsible buttstock inspired from the XM16-A1E1 carbine for urbanized combat. I carried just about all of the M 16's series from M16, M16-A1, M16 - A2's in the military in the 1980s . Plus, I have been building them since 1985. If you don't believe me, read the technical manuals for the series . It clearly states the difference between the models. The Airforce's tech manuals are slightly better than the army's versions.
Always appreciate when experience and knowledge hops into the comments! Honestly, thank you. Every nugget of info we can share with the community is valuable.
That reptillia thing is a giant pile of junk. It will collapse without depressing the switch as well as coming completely off the gun if pulled hard. When extended the buttstock will bend and twist like crazy.

Two of the future items, I wish I could afford. The stock and trigger not necessarily that particular Aero Upper

I wish the cheekpiece would move with the back end on these kind of stocks. Should also include a QD on the front end for that price
I agree.
