    What happens in commander if we apply Phasing to a creature that is not mine: A - On my turn it is active and on the next opponent's turn it is deactivated. Or B - On my turn it is active and on the next opponent's turn it is deactivated, and it is activated and deactivated each time it enters another opponent's turn

    So what are examples of how to use that to advantage?

      Two whole years and this still doesn't have an answer. What does that tell you?! lol

    hey what is with a "when this creature enterns the battlefield" effect ? will it trigger again, when the creature is phasing in?

    • @darknova000
      @darknova000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, phasing is a status effect. The creature never changed zones. When it phases it it will still be on the battlefield and therefore won't trigger any "enter the battlefield" abilities.

    So you get your phasing permanent every other turn?

    • @darknova000
      @darknova000 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. If it was phased in this turn, then next turn it will be phased out.

    So It wont actually trigger etb abilities right?

    Hmmm. So the card exiled with Banishing Light still comes back after phasing out then in?

    • @sethreardon2007
      @sethreardon2007 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Banishing Light exiles a card when it ETB's, so that card remains exiled if Banishing Light phases out (BL didn't leave the battlefield, it just doesn't "exist" until it phases back in - its still on the battlefield). The card exiled is still in exile when BL phases in, and can still return if BL is destroyed once it phases back in. (hopefully that answers your question)

    Soooo... Why even bother with Phasing in/out in the first place? Protection or something? I just don't get it. lol
    Am I dumb or something?

    Not what I expected phasing to be.

    Could be worst, could be "band with". Try to explaing that mechanic to new and also old players gives you headaches.

      Thankfully they haven't reprinted "Banding"
