I’ve always been a good guy, I just made bad decisions 👌🏽 I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so proud of someone that I don’t even know. Stay Focused, Sir!
drug addicts are the best manipulators. I have people in my family that can tell you a great story or the best version of their story. Drug addicts tend to be pieces of shit. With that being said i hope the best out there for people struggling. In my experience these people have a plethora of mental problems along with addiction.
Same ❤ I loved hearing him say those words. I love seeing him feeling good about himself and the hard work he has put in to turn it around. Keep going ❤️
Maybe the drug addicts in your family were piece of shit but not all drug addicts are pieces of shit. They are some of the kindest sensitive and caring people that are just struggling.
When I first woke up this morning, Christmas Morning 2022, I saw the title of "Recovered Crack addict...." and I thought "ohhhhhhh, no I'm not sure I can start my day with That"... And a minute in, and reference to a past clip, I did a quick search and clicked play on the first of Wayne's story.... And wowwwwwwwwww, then into this update video.. Wowwwwwwwwww... Sooooooooo mannny messages that HELPED me, a white early 50s, non drug user in Canada....... Helped ME........ For MY day❣️🙏🙏🙏❤️...... "Your mind, like a taped up crime scene, IF you're not willing to Live what You Speak..." Wowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!! To Wayne: you are Such a a Beeeeautiful soul, such a Beeeeautiful Spirit!!!!!!!! Soooo giving, smart and insightful!!! Thank you for ALLLLL you shared!!!!! Honestly, I am Sooooooo Happppppy to have spent some of My Christmas 2022 with YOU and Mark🙏❣️💓🤗..... Merry Christmas to ALLLLLL who participate in Mark's channel and journey..... Tara in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
In the name of Jesus thank you for this amazing share! I have 4 1/2 yrs clean and sober from alcohol and drugs and everything this man shared made perfect clear sense to me! Thank you and God bless you
Dear Wayne, I couldn’t figure out why I kept starting to cry listening to your story. It was the similarity of mercy that God showed to you, that He has shown to me. You know the same Jesus as I do! He is the great I Am. I love your attitude and spirit!
im pausing at about 6 minutes with tears in my eyes. i went from 0-100 real quick in my early 20s, straight to heroin, straight to the needle, all the way to rock bottom. the cars lost, the jobs lost, the friendships lost, the family lost, the stealing, the pawning, walking the sidewalk in the hood at 3am, the overdoses... the friends dying in front of me. it was only a few years. but it's changed me forever. i went rehab. i made some progress. i made a lot of progress, really. but then i started drinking, and i found myself disgusting within the next couple years. my yes's are no longer necessarily yes's, and my no's aren't necessarily no's. and that does create a fucking crime scene in my head, and it's not who i want to be. i'm 2 days sober. congratulations on your success.
Nick don’t ever give up, you are worth it. I’ve only been addicted to crack (for hard drugs) but Jesus saved me then - got pregnant and quit - although it still took me years later, I was using weed and alcohol and when I met Him and was completely set free 🙌. Wayne said it didn’t he, Satan wants us to keep that crime scene in our minds. We are not the addiction or things we did while in it. I pray you find peace and freedom🙏🙏
RIP to my good friend who died two days ago. He was a fentanyl addict. He told me about this channel and how it helped him cope with this demon that is addiction. Sadly he lost the battle. I am a drug addict myself(coke) and never gave this channel a chance. But wow the stories you hear here are truly inspirational. I made a promise to myself that I will get sober and surely D's death and these videos will help me massively. These interviews give me a good insight into what heavy drug abuse leads to. Thank you Mark for everything
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. You can defeat your demons. Please believe in and love yourself. You deserve it. You have the power and the strength to have a better life.
My good life long friend Daryl’s death anniversary was 3 days ago. He drank himself to death at the age of 30... he’s walked w/ me since the day he left earth. Whenever I go skating or listen to a band he loved I remind myself that I continue to do these things, in part, because he can’t any longer... I hope you find your way sinister
I'm on the samethang brother and it's so hard bro these videos does help and how long have u been on it and what other ways do you cope with this because I need more ways bro because he doesn't have alot of videos with people on coke🙏
Oh Mark, look at good you do in people's lives!!! It is an honor you witness the good you do. So proud of you Wayne and God bless you. Onward dear man.
It's a beautiful thing that Wayne managed to get clean and is living a life that is making him happy. Merry Xmas to everyone and Kudos to Mark for putting together this channel and getting the message out. Mark, your work is as important as Gabor Mate.
Can’t stop crying, Wayne. You’ve reminded me of a man I met in rehab named Frank who believed in me & helped me believe in myself. You’ve reminded me of all the reasons I’m still here & everything I still have to do. Thank you, Wayne.
What an incredible story of hope and transformation. It's striking how different he appears in this video compared to the last- before he was at the start of his journey, and now he's further along and is beaming and full of gratitude and can appreciate all the small things in his life, the overcoming of adversity. Change is possible.
Such wisdom from this man. I wonder if he's ever considered preaching or public speaking or starting a TH-cam channel. It seems like he can really help a lot of others.
"The mind is a crime scene." - Wayne What a truthful quote coming from an ex addict myself. I can truly relate. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Many might say "that says heart!" But to a Hebrew the heart is the mind. Hebrews 4:12 Mark keep doing these happy ending stories.
I'm only 1/3 of the way through this interview and my brain is exploding from the words of experience and inspiration from you Wayne. Thank you. Also, thanks to Mark for doing what you do.
Loved this Interview Mark...just loved it...Wayne is an example of the fact that SWALLOWED PAIN NEVER DIGESTS... he FREED himself and just look at the results.....pure Love and Light.!!!!!! SWU has changed so many lives... Much love from BARBADOS in the Caribbean💕
I've never heard this before "SWALLOWED PAIN NEVER DIGESTS..." love it! Yes, Mr. Wayne has inspired me to free some of the bs ive kept inside, he's so right! You can see how light he is today :)
You hit it right on the nail..KEEP GOD FIRST . Keep updating us. You are an inspiration to the lives of those you meet on SWU & in person. Stay blessed and humble. The Lord is well pleased with you His Son🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰
The optimism and the self love is what will carry him through! He had a Will to live life to the fullest, and isn’t wallowing is self pity, bitterness or resentment. There are a lot of lessons here for me, too! Bless him always ❤❤❤
🥲🥲I'm so proud of this man. My dad was a Vietnam vet and was a functioning addict for many many years until it finally caught up with him. It wasn't until he died that I was told some of the things he experienced in war. Before he died though he had clean time and he committed his life to Christ before he died which was his greatest accomplishment. Much continue success sir. I took know how hard it is to get clean on a personal note. Just graduated drug court a few weeks ago. All praises to JC
So proud of YOU! Happy you are on your sober journey and embarking on a now beautiful life, thanks to your father for his service and so happy he was clean and spiritually committed before he passed. This is such a beautiful comment ❤️ take care
“Life is not for you to understand-it’s for you to learn from.” I am so grateful for people like Wayne, whose stories bless others. Wayne you are amazing. Thank you for shining your light! You are an inspiration. One foot in front of the other and stay in my lane. Great advice for all of us. May your blessings continue on to your future generations! TY. Respect, sir. I am going to listen to this interview again.
Keep pushing forward my brother! You are not alone. Alot of us are dealing with childhood trauma. I get strength from you continuing to battle and you're still trying to better yourself still. Love ya bruh. Keep your head up stand tall!
‘I free myself whenever I can’ This should be the title of your first book Wayne What a powerful transformation - stay strong. Your first interview made me cry - your dad was wrong in every possible way - and you forgave him - God Bless you. Sending love and prayers from the UK. Mark - this powerful and life changing channel is giving insight into a world I never knew. Life is very hard for many.
I really love the follow ups! ❤️ I remember the original interview...so wonderful to see dark to light transformations. He has a wonderful testimony and bright spirit ✨️ ❤️ thanks for sharing this especially at Christmas. It was a true blessing
I'm proud of everything you've accomplished in such short time. You've drastically improved your life, you went from existing to living. Congratulations and good luck for everything you will still accomplish.
Wayne you are so incredible! I once heard someone say that we die without encouragement. Keep encouraging others along your journey. I’m so happy for your new life and your smile! You look like your 40! Your kids must be so happy to have their dad back. Congratulations Wayne, you deserve it!
Abstaining from alcohol and any intoxicants is the key, because it lowers your strength to stay away from other stuff. The second u think I can drink a couple, it will lead to something else. Great job!! I'm happy for u Wayne!!!
As you have with many of the viewers here, you give me just the light that I need. I have struggled greatly this past decade. I have had severe medical and mental issues, financial issues, issues with drug abuse...just about anything you could imagine. Just as I am sitting here watching SWU, I realized (with your suggestion) that I could 'speak into existence' whatever it is I want to change...like right now I could do that! Ive been thinking that I am going to change in a week, a year, New Years etc. Today I am putting away the old broken me and speaking the new me into existence today...now! Thank you for all of the wonderful comments and advice. You are phenomenal.
Another perfect example of how this channel can lead to brighter healthier lives..love this community and the hope and love it inspires. Congratulations Wayne keep going up and up, all power to you. 🙌🌟
Amazing work Wayne! His first interview broke my heart, but seeing his determination was just incredible. To see him doing so well now is a beautiful thing!
Love you Wayne I'm a 25 year old white male who isn't addicted to drugs but I have behavior issues I want to thank you and to let you know that you are giving out wisdom! God bless you on your journey
Awesome!!!! SO Happy for him and his Family. And that the Channel helped to find His worth to Push through is so lovely to hear!!! Mark, you MAKE a difference to this People 🤘🤘😍
Woooow Wayne. Congratulations on what you have accomplished after such a long period of disappointment. You are a true inspiration to everyone out there. Keep it up!! All the best from Germany 👌✌
I'm a childhood SA survivor & I'm also in recovery from hard drug§. I also relate to what you're saying when no matter how much you used, in the back of your mind there was that part that WANTED OFF THE STUFF. As long as you have that tiny little part, you have a chance at recovery. We CAN/DO recover! Never settle for a life less than you deserve. Merry Christmas!
Perfect timing....Christmas day. Wow. What a gift. Thank-you Mark. This interview shows us all the power we have as viewers to help uplift and encourage your subjects. To see how well Wayne is doing today, it's amazing. Thank-you Wayne . You are an inspiration.
Wayne, thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m so glad you are sober for 13 months! 🙌🏽 Congratulations! Keep the faith and I know you can do it. Blessings to you and your family. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wayne...I believe you're a kick-ass man, you have a wonderful day sir! Words of true wisdom at 15:00 "Life is not for you to understand...life is for you to learn from" 💜🙏bless you Wayne🙌
I know that these type of videos don’t get as many view but by far, they are my favorite. It reinforces that with hope and hard work, you can make it. Thank you for these videos.
I Love how on a bad day, he reads the comments from the SWU family, so proud of All of us who keep uplifting and encouraging all who come to share their pain, trauma and stories to the world! It can't be easy coming forward to be judged but the SWU family is one of a kind! Everyone of you have a very beautiful day, you deserve it! ❤️
This makes my heart so happy. He is a lovely man that I wanted to see persevere. He is an inspiration, an example of pulling yourself out and changing your mindset and life. He's gonna be OK and I'm so happy for him.
Wow.One of the best videos iv seen mark.I think that if people could see their selves in addiction from your videos and see the same video when they are sober it will help them.like out a body.the problem is getting them sober to watch their own video.great job Wayne for over coming his situation.salute to you.share your experience with others.
Thank you for telling your story Wayne! It took a while, but you've made it through the darkness! I pray that the rest of your life is filled with light, so that you can see the beauty around you clearly!
One piece of advise. Don't get too comfortable. I had 10 years sober. Relapsed. To a recreational user. Not worth it. Started out once every few months to once a month to once a week. I'm sober now. Alhamdulilah
Just not worth it!! Waste of money! All problems are still there when u wake up magnified. Times ten. So hold on to that sober rope tight. Bad days pass. Cravings pass! Let them pass. n you'll be greatful in the morning saying I dodged that bullet. Like u said every days a new day!!
Its nice to hear you talk and give opinions in the interview Mark. You are just as interesting as the persons you interview and if someone else was behind the camera this channel would never be what it is
@@smiauu it could be argued both ways. What can’t be argued is that just as the people mark interviews he’s in a position and has perspectives many of us “regular” people don’t. On top of that he’s a also charismatic guy that devotes his life to helping others. He’s as interesting as it gets and I love hearing him speak
Good job Mr. Wayne, you doing it! Look at what changing your life has done for you, so very proud of the progress you've made. Stay strong, stay focused you got this! Mele kalikimaka (merry xmas) from Hawaii 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Wayne, you should be so proud of yourself! watching your video I kept clapping every time you drop that wisdom bits. I've worked in outpatient clinic as counselor and I see that you've entered another chapter of your life, from now on it's only up. Even when you're having a not so great of a day, continue to count your blessings and feel proud for how far you've come. I wish you continues success! I'll show your videos to a few people who are struggling with addiction to inspire them.
Proud to see he overcame addiction.... Keep striving to be better and keep faith in God... Being able to sit & talk about what you been threw takes a strong person to do that
Absolutely 💯 sharing your vulnerable side takes a very strong person, and then to make it out, come back and we see the beautiful difference, is Amazing!! Have a beautiful day 💙
Wayne is saying alot of things that really speak to me and needed to hear. Thanks brother, my recovery journey is ongoing and hearing testimony like this helps. Greetings from the Canadian west coast.
Dear Wayne, the photos that Mark took of you from your first interview to this one are phenomenal. You beam with peace and health. You even look younger. You have recaptured your youth, pride and worth. It’s evident. Thank you for sharing your story and life. You are a beautiful person and an inspiration. Thank you. Even in the smallest ways to ppl all over and far away you have helped and you are a healer. Your integrity and honesty is immaculate. Thank you for being brave and believing so that I can be brave and believe too.
You are an amazing person, Wayne!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!! I have no doubt that you are an inspiration to thousands (if not millions) of others currently struggling. Your positive attitude and insightfulness makes you unstoppable. And I’m SO happy to hear that you’ve been able to reconnect with your children! 🙂
This one is for the darker days, you’re right about just being who you are, everything you are is everything we miss and need, there’s no one else exactly like you, so no once else can bring what you bring. Also you’re a dad so there’s an aspect where you’re a dad all the time, so you’re even parenting the youtube community now with your experience and teaching, and we know the world needs it’s dads :) thank you!
Keep pushing through, I lost both of my grandparents to drugs and i love seeing recovery and seeing people live the life they deserve to live keep pushing through and always remember you have people in your corner
So proud of you Wayne! 😊Your new nickname is Wayne the Wise! 😁🙌🤍😇 Thank you for your story and inspiration. I see God is all in you and around you! 😇🙌🤍 wishing you the best! God bless you and your family! 😌
Your healing and healing others by using your voice to simply tell your story. You are becoming the person God intended for you to be. At 63 you are stronger, better and wiser! Blessings and favor to you.
My man Wayne!!! Much love brother!! I’m happy for you and want you to know that you are a motivation and inspiration. Thank you kindly for making it happen G
I love you Wayne! I'm so glad you are here. Shine on friend! Your message is very important especially since you are an older person who has been able to get help. The older we get, the less chance we have of getting out. You are truly an inspiration sir! Keep stacking those days! ♾💚❤🌲🥰
Wayne not sure if you will see this brother, but im 19, and im changing my life for the better to loose weight and become a better man for my family that i have left and it makes me feel so good, im just blessed to know that others are making their life better, Stay blessed wayne. you deserve this good stuff.
Congratulations Wayne! Thank you for sharing your recovery with us. Keep doing what you are doing and you will stay sober the rest of your life. Attitude of gratitude, is where its at. I am so happy for the beautiful life you live. Your message was powerful Wayne. Your walking the walk. God bless you.
I wrote down some of what Wayne said. I have never had addiction issues. But his advice transcends any particular issue and I think can make us all better people. I hope that you have a long happy life Wayne. I appreciate your comments and advice.
I would really like it if all your videos were this positive. Now, Wayne's a productive human being, worthy of the very best in life. I am happy for him. Something tells me he won't relapse. Congratulations to him!
I was a crack addict back in the 90's. I look back on my life and it's hard to believe it was me. I'm happy I haven't touched coke in over 22 year's and my life just continued to get better since.

congratulations Wayne. Your positive energy will inspire someone else in a dark place to find themselves and escape such as you did,
I'm a childhood SA survivor & I'm also in recovery from hard drug§.
I thought the same thing, Gwenn k.

What an incredible Xmas interview! Wayne….You deserve every great thing that comes your way.
Thank u so much sending love and peace to u and yours. Love Wayne!
Wayne, you're an inspiration. This really warmed my heart to hear you speak. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family
I'm coming up on 6 years. I understand exactly what you are talking about. Beating the addictions is a high in itself #soberlife .
You are so beautiful. Keep on being a blessing and living with integrity.
Wayne! I just listened to first interview. Thank you for sharing. So happy for you. I’m on this journey with you one day at a time❤
Congratulations sir, I'm really happy for you 😊🙏🏾... Much love and respect from Ghana 🇬🇭 (West Africa)
You are just as interesting as the persons you interview and if someone else was behind the camera this channel would never be what it is
DQ your a zillion percent correct ......sending everyone love light strength and blessings from UK
this channel is not about Mark
I agree with you 💯 percent!!! It definitely would Not be the same without Mark,he's a very rare and special man 💛
@@smiauu it could be argued both ways. What can’t be argued is that just as the people mark interviews he’s in a position and has perspectives many of us “regular” people don’t. On top of that he’s a also charismatic guy that devotes his life to helping others. He’s as interesting as it gets and I love hearing him speak
@Brian May Was she interviewed before?? If so, I will definitely look it up, thanks 😊 for the heads up 💯
Good job Mr.
Thank you so much for this, it’s motivating and inspiring
Proud to see he overcame addiction.... Keep striving to be better and keep faith in God... Being able to sit & talk about what you been threw takes a strong person to do that
Real talk big facts💯
Absolutely 💯 sharing your vulnerable side takes a very strong person, and then to make it out, come back and we see the beautiful difference, is Amazing!! Have a beautiful day 💙

Wow!!!! You MUST bring him back, a natural storyteller 😱
Congrats Wayne! You are incredibly bright and I hope that your future matches your shine. Merry Christmas man :)
Well said and I agree 💯 percent!! Take care and have a beautiful day 💙💛💙💛
