watching season 3 of the bear and wishing they'd have brought back carmy's denim collection back into the plot. i had to go back to the first episode and see that scene again, where he uses a blanket lined type 3 and some redline selvedge from ww2 as currency with his friend

36x38 is not an unusual size. With shrink-to-fit that is a 34-35 inseam, the perfect length for a regular sized man to cuff and show off the redlines. I have a pair of deadstock with tags 38x36 redlines from the early 1980s. I got them for $90 off ebay when it first started in the late 1990s.
