WOAH! I'm blown away by the amount of views this video has received. Thanks to everybody for the support! I really enjoy answering questions and I appreciate that you guys are enjoying the video and asking questions. Once again, thanks for all the support! Also, anyone who is gonna comment about hearly clear, I know I messed up. I get it. You don't have to mention it.
Pianoj10 That was a fast reply. I have put some on the internet though the time consuming computer keyboard..ahhhgghh. it says the first time you hook the midi up it will down load the midi driver... it tried, but my power cable fell from the back and it said it failed. I don't know if it is power disruption issue or non compatibility issue. I am going to try to get rid of any trace of the factory failed download and start fresh.. Just hook it up and start again. Lastly I'll try compatibility settings on my computer. I've got to get a stand alone version..with out a Microsoft partner putting extraneous data on my laptop. I don't need new drivers, don't need to speed my computer up.. etc.. I do thank you for your feedback.
I hearly clear this video as being an extremely informative vid.. THANK YOU for the upload. You get to the point on the exact questions that I had about this. AS a piano player, and have little knowledge on electronic keyboards, other than many of the piano sounds that I have heard over the years have been quite crap. While I don't like judging like that and being so conclusive on my feelings towards them, I have to admit that they're expensive, and you really need to spend good money on anything that is 'fantastic' as far as the onboard sounds. This Casio doesn't seem too bad. I'm about to pick it up from a local marketplace, and I'd be paying 20 bucks for it. Anyway, thanks for the vid PianoJ

simple but effective review. said nothing about sampling feature?... but the computer game loop in the background is forkin annoying... seems some people here below in the comments are lazy and don't want to read the manual. typical.
I wish Casio would make this exact keyboard in a table top version. I have the SA76 but its lame because no recording ability, no sequencer, waay too simple. This 4400 is almost perfect. Its too big.
In your video you talk about the " keys " clicking or making a lot of noise. One suggestion: Try running your audio output (earphone output ) to your computer audio input jack to record the music you make. Then later when you edit your videos you can add the sound to it in a separate track. That is IF you are very concerned about the keyboard noise. Nice video you just sold me on this keyboard. I'm not what you would call a piano/keyboard artist but one thing I do know about is recording audio and editing videos.. good luck.
Can u pls make a tutorial on how to use the auto accompaniment? I know how to play the chords with both my hands but struggling so much on how to use that auto accompaniment... Pls pls kindly do a video on it. Thanks.
@@karolcamargo5402 total nooob here. My friend has this and wants to record some of his stuff whats the easiest and cheapest way to hook this up to some software ?
@@bigmarky well I'm a noob to so I really don't Know hahaha but like I said in the last comment I use the midi function in Ableton I just use a USB that's the same that you use to connect a printer and I think you don't have to do anything complicated, the program just recognize it, I honestly don't know the price of the software because I got us as a gift.
Hi thanks for your review. I've just bought the 4400. I have one problem when I try to use one finger chord mode the fingers used for a minor chord or seventh chord etc are not the same as in the instruction book?? In the book it's says one finger for major chord then second finger to the left to get a minor chord etc. On mine to get say A minor I put index finger on C then second finger on the A note. Can you tell me where I am going wrong? Do I set accompaniment first or use split screen? Hope you can advise. Regsrds. Dave.
I have the ctk 4200 Casio keyboard. spent all day trying to download a midi driver for my 32 bit windows 7. I've seen copies bit they are all being hosted by scam companies not directly on Casio's site. Any ideas .. I'm anoob on midi.

Mayank Sharma Obviously,Yamaha keyboards are better than Casio keyboards in terms of sound quality.....If you want to play nd enjoy some great piano stuff,I'll recommend u to go for Yamaha keyboards...as they have a better piano sound.....if you wanna try some good great amount of instruments nd have some fun......then you can go for this model
No, pero salieron masomenos por las mismas fechas, de hecho. En los manuales se mencionan ambos, asi que supongo que deben tener casi las mismas características
Thank you so much for the review. I was thinking of buying one too. Now one question is, are you able to transfer the music you record to your laptop through the USB port? And also, the clicking sound you mentioned, is it too much of a disturbance? Or will the music drown the sound out?
Rebecca karen You can connect the keyboard to a PC, but you need a special USB plug for the keyboard, not just a normal one. Download Data Manager from the Casio website, and you can transfer the recordings, but you can only play them on the keyboard. The clicking can be heard over the sound, but I don't think it's that bad of a disturbance.
Hello, did you try it with headphones? Did you realise any deep sound when you inserted the jack? I mean do you hear any sound like wind or whish when there is no music? Thank you!
No bro you don’t need to get pedal there is a trick to Turn on the sustain by Holding the function key prior to turning on the piano, then by holding the function key turn on the piano you will get sustain.
Lucas Depends what you mean by "cheap plastic" You certainly can play with no discomfort or anything and the keys feel decent. But they are plastic. And they are not the most expensive plastic, you know. You can obviously find a keyboarf with better keys. Again, depends what you mean by "cheap plastic"
I’ve never used it for stage performing, but I have recorded from it. One thing to say about recording from it is that it has no line output jacks. It just has a headphone jack, which shuts off the speakers when plugged into. I always have to plug in a splitter that splits the signal to my headphones and into my computer, so I can actually hear what I am playing.
Julius Ceazar Pascua Yeah bruh you can play in synthesia software through this keyboard.....what you'll require is a USB TYPE B MIDI Cable....Just connect the cable with PC nd this keyboard,nd u r done!!

Clash King Vishesh You can use the Rhythm Editor and edit Rhythms that exist, but the only way to create your own is to manually play the drum tones.
