This performance is like a piece of modern art
Yep 👍
quite like one
That was like, the best thing I've seen... maybe ever. I may have a new outlook on being in my 50s....
❤Nice forever
Watch their Jools Holland performance of this song.
That level of disdain is unmatched
Brilliance
One of my favorites. Cheers from detroit
Sooo nice, fantastic!
I destroyed a "house" party by dropping "jobseeker" in the mix. Half the party looked confused as the other half went mental with the energy off the roof. I was bad
Not all heroes wear capes 😂
u were bad. badder than i would've but you know it was good
Mate did the same with jolly fucker😂
I connect to Bluetooth speakers in shops where possible and play this.
@@Ontheroadtourism that is a lot of fun. love it!!
Nicely done! Cheers for KEXP 3 mln sub!!!
Absolutely class----

This ending followed by "Discover new music…" is truly brilliant
😂
Unreal as always
Watched them in Cardiff students Union a few years back, brilliant night

The last punks from Nottingham❤
Cant believe I have not heard this one... Exactly! Should have looked harder!
Folks, I'm not from the UK. Can someone please enlighten me, what does he mean by 19.2 top, 18.4 middle?
Refers to Jason working in a cold storage van, checking temperature of chicken, above 22 Celsius has to be sent back
An ode to meaningless jobs on minimum wage
A very intense political discussion turned into great music ❤🤘🏻🤘🏻
Rep lento ma fote ma lento, con una forte coppia, un forte didel che esplode ad ogni pigiata del gas!
MANDY brought me here!
chais pas c'qu'il dit......mais bon sang,il le dit !!
Modern day Mozart
So tell me a bit about yourself Mr.Williamson
Танцуй так, как будто тебя никто не видет! называется
Was macht der Otto mit der Kappe da?
Does the beard guy do anything... Besides dancing? 😅
Programs all the music, presses play on the laptop and then dances like a dad at a wedding..... basically what Motley Crue does but he's more honest about it.
I love how he doesn't pretend there's any live creation side to it. Just turns up, presses play and has a dance on stage.
@@martinfreekie7659, he chooses to dance on stage. He used to drink a bottle of Becks.
Beard man getting more active as he gets older. So much more active than 5 years ago. I dread to think what he'll be like on this tune in another 5 even 10 years.... uncontrollably. Great band, great vid
😆😆😆😆
Uncontrollably what u ended there
Broken Britain in lyrical form. Austerity was a political strategy - NOT an economic one!
❤
A proper artist. Incredible to watch these types of performances given the amount of shite chucked down our throats from the main stream. True talent. Superb.
I'm including this video, the group, the individuals the subject matter, and Strongbow, as part of my Personal Development Plan at work next week.
A classic, always nice to hear. I love how Andrew discovered dancing, he really got moves.
discovered?
@@clumsiii Yeah, but usually up to now he wouldn't thrown down the moves, just kind of chill with a beer and righteously nod
That's his daily workout
his cardiovascular health must just be stellar these days.
Gotta work off all that beer!
Best song for Karaoke ever made.
Где у бороды батарейка?!) Ребята жгут словом, и как всегда точно в теме.👍👍👍👏👏👏✌
fucking love this song so much
This is on KEXP? So I just wonder if any of the Americans understood any of the ingrained British cultural references that this piece is utterly riven with.
I don't think that many British people understand them either.
@@richardsmith3099 I do!
A few, because I’ve spent time there not as a tourist, like the dole sign on and some of the slang. But most of it, no, it’s the way he delivers it.
I had the same question in my head when I saw them in Seattle last year! I've been engaged to a Brit for the past seven years and have spent a ton of time living over there, and I still struggle with Sleafords sometimes!
@@aylagriffin3310 They are from Nottingham which is a place that has quite a specific accent. It takes some getting used to. Having said that it is by no means the hardest UK accent to tune into. If you are from the UK that is. There are a lot of inferred references - for example when he is talking about his experiences with the Department of Work and Pensions and the NHS - that you have to have grown up with those institutions and experienced yourself to really appreciate. I suppose I'm talking about the group cultural experience. My sister in law is from Seattle and has been living in the UK for 18 years. She has become very well versed in these subtle nuances. The thing is, the Sleaford's message is that the institutions of our state and society that are set up to take care of us and help us are manned by people who do their best every day and go home burned out. We have all been let down by successive governments of apathetic career politicians. Most can relate to that, regardless of their nationality.
I love u sleaford mods, regards from Argentina
And from Romania! You are something else!
They have made it and are still killing it. What a pair!
This is punk!!!.
Lots of artists say they don't gaf, but the Mods are the true kings of idgaf.
10/10.
10/10
Its like brown bottle from the viz magazine has came to life and started his own band
awesome
Sleaford Mods - Jobseeker (Live on KEXP) 1908pm 9.6.23 someone had to do it, though... sing about the dole dossers without trynna make it twee and 6th form. dont forget kids these dole dossers are the underclass where plebian mores are concerned... they fight for the moniker proletarian lest they be deemed parasites of the state. cockroaches and parasites or just posing cunts slumming it for a few years to keep it real - you decide.
ohhh fuck yeh
FIRST for this bangaaaaaaaaa
Finger deffo on pulse.real Britain!
Best karaoke❤
This is the best and most relevant tune since Career Opportunities
It's getting worse and worse!!! Looks like two elder englishmen are doing their morning workout somewhere on Mallorca. 10 years ago, i admired this band. Eine Kiste Bier pro Auftritt, klasse Event. Und keine albernen Dance moves...
This is Eliza Doolittle’s father from My Fair Lady if he had done Molly for 20 years and started an electronic musical duo 😂
Nihilism in musical form .

It's Amazing
Suban el show completo!!!!!!!
This makes the Sex Pistols look like S Club 7
They are not even from Sleaford. (Unlike me!).
Neither are they mods.
A beautiful take on living a humdrum existence by taking a job especially in the 9-5 category. A modern masterpiece ✨️ The Belfast poet Andrew Beattie. Food for thought...
Can someone explain calmly what 29 .2 top and
,18 4 middle means I guess it to do with a job situation
In the UK
Cheers folks 😎
0:02 getting out of bed at 6am "huh that's me?!"👉
Real anger about real world stuff. And if the kids are united they will never be defeated. Sorry Ben Elton 😂
YES!!! Best versions are the KEXP versions of songs.
Wow, talk about powerful, fucking hell 😮

BLOODY GREAT !
This is a performance.
YEAH! YyyyyyyYEeeeeeeeeAaaaaaaHhhhhhh! 😛
verry good performance
The beard slows no man
Give us a can of skoll.
so kind of him to pet some bum
Can someone explain what the 19.2 top 18.4 middle means? Is it a job salary range?
Something to do with one of the shit jobs he had to do where he was measuring temperatures in different parts of the fridge and had to call them out. I might have got that slightly wrong but something like that.
I think it was a job he had measuring baby chickens weight
i like the bass player. drummer’s cute too.
You're talking about the Corrs mate.
Surely Jim is more cute than the drummer?
Sleaford Mods - Jobseeker (Live on KEXP) 1906pm 9.6.23 i dont care what you say, it's rancid hellspawn without the eccentric overdubs... john copper clark and the obligatory fall asides. not my cup of tea. but fuck orf and the free association dance in the back ground are the things glasto is made of.
too much pills mate, yeah man lol

What in the world are they saying? The beat is... eh... so so. The lyrics? I haven't a clue as to what the hell they're saying.
It's about the malaise of living in the de-industrialised Midlands. Think of Nottingham as the UK's Detroit and you ain't far wrong. It's a miserable, grey, rotten place to live. It gets you down. The conceit of the song is grappling with some clueless stuffed-shirt at the unemployment office, always a _delightful_ place to spend your time.
If you need to know what each line means, go look at Genius, they'll sort you out.
I believe he is yelling "jobseeker"
White mans rap ill give it that. But not a patch on PWEI at their best.
Use like em. Carnt stand em
