- Shows how to extract ink on an ecotank printer in case you refilled the wrong ink or need to change them all, following on from the video not shown you should also draw ink through the print head with the nozzles to recharge the head from the main chamber which should avoid the need for a power flush or ink charge then you should be able to just run some cleans in this scenario - i didn't think about that when i made the video. - and will remake it

This guys video FINALLY helped us to fix our Epson 4760. The black ink stopped working after we refilled it with a highly rated Amazon brand ink. It almost ruined our printer. Stick with the genuine Epson inks because the Epson eco tanks are finicky with the ink they will use. I was able siphon the bad ink out with a syringe. Thank you for making the video!
I completed all of the steps, however the new black ink is not printing yet. What do I do?

I have just made the leap from cartridge to eco tank all-in-ones. When I replace the stock ink with CIE's do I have to wait until the particular ink tank is empty? Is it possible to accidentally overfill a tank?
I can buy a used epson et2750 for $100 bucks, but he says it needs to be cleaned. Is there something that should be ran thru to clean it? Is it worth buying and cleaning?
my problem is the ink is new and every time I print it doesn't show color, Im so unsure how to fix.

I bought this printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
Hi, I’m wondering would it be the same process to drain ordinary ink out and refill with City Ink Sublimation ink would this be a complete flush out with head cleaner or drain/fill and prints number of items off first please
Yes its the same process and just run a few prints off no need to flush

I want to use my ET-2400 printer with Sublimation Ink. So I can empty the tanks like this and then refill with the new ink.

I did the exact same thing. Why on earth would they sell a SUBLIMATION printer, without SUBLIMATION ink lol

You got to be kidding me. WHO designed this trash. I just threw mine in the dump. The black ink in the reservoir was dried and wouldn’t pump through. I’ll never use this brand again.
Hi I have the same printer but in Australia it is the Epson ET-2810 and we are having trouble lifting the top of it up. We have undone all the screws like you did.

the ink that comes with them is not sublimation ink its normal everyday ink

Thank you so much!!! I've been devastated because I needed to change my black ink in my ET4760. I didn't remove the cable but I was able to pull all of the ink from the printhead like you did!
Hi. I have this printer and I took out the cartridges and cleaned the print heads. I also pulled some the ink from the tank to make sure i didnt have a clog there as well. My blue was clogged. I reassembled but now the ink from the tanks dont seem to reloading the cartridges. I am wondering if i stretched the tubes like you just talked about or if there is another issue. If i have stretched it. Is there enough play to remove the very end for tighter fit

Can you exchange the EcoTank ink for Hard Solvent Inks? I am aware this will corrode some parts of the printer and render the printer useless after six months, but I am happy to take this risk.

Why would you buy one of these expensive printers just to only have it for 6 months?
@@morganc.m1830 It would outweigh the benefits of being able to print on the vinyl material. The benefits are the large profits. However, since this was posted a year ago, I have got a manufacturer to develop a Vinyl that is printable with non-solvent inks. There are other inkjet printable types of vinyl but my vinyl has air channels (bubble-free) with removable adhesive. In fact, I now sell this vinyl as my own brand.

I had a color clogged and no epson cleaning or flushing worked, epson customer service was unhelpful at best. I didn't know how the printer was build so I couldn't take it apart. This video literally saved my ass, I flushed the cartidge, refiled it and it's working perfectly now! The only different thing in my model was the annoying lever that doesnt let you open the printer more than 5cm and the plug on top of the cartiges, but I managed to pop off the side panel without breaking the plastic pin and got around that. Thank you for saving me money since I was about to buy a new printer lol.
How do you flush the catridge
is there a flush fluid we could use to clean the tank with? Great video btw, I wished I came across you first, as the people we bought our printer from are f****ing useless. We have the Epson L3111 which looks very similar to the one you are using.
You wont need to flush using this method

I accidentally put magenta in the cyan tank, with the magenta tank already full of magenta as well. It was printinf normally for a little bit, considering I had some cyan left in the tank, but not a lot, hence why I was refilling it, but I accidentally put the magenta in.
Now my prints are pinker. Idk if I should print multiple pages of magenta or cyan to get the magenta out of that tank. Does the printer recognize the color or does it just immediately take the color out of the specific color ink tank thinking it is that. So if I print cyan, would it take the ink out of the cyan tank, even though it is magenta ink in.
There was some space for more ink in the cyan tank from where I've still been printing normally and I'm just filling it with some cyan to see if it helps.
Edit:nope. Now I'm stuck with 2 full ink tanks of the wrong color and the printer isn't taking any ink from either one. It's acting like they are just empty. I was just gonna use up all the ink, but that didn't work and now my printer is also saying things in the printer are at the end of their service. I looked up that and only found things about the ink waste pad. Could you or do you have a video covering that?
Edit: Okay, so yours is definitely different than the 2400, wven though they looked very similar. I only saw one screw on the left side, but nowhere else. I now don't know how to take off the cover and am stuck. I really wanna get this fixed. I print a lot and this is obviously beginning to be a problem for me.
And about ink waste pad, I think I found where it is at. It's on the right side on the back. I haven't unscrewing it yet and looked, but it seems to look like thats where it is.
There is literally nothing coming out, like barely any ink and the tank is full. And when I pulled sone out and took the syringe out it also got ink all over the tube and probably in the printer, so idk if thats an issue.
I am looking to switch back and forth between regular ink and sublimation ink as needed. Can you advise an attachment to do this.
you will have residual ink left in the tubes and in the tanks. There could also be sediment left in the tanks because they're made totally differently.

I setup my ET-2400 Last night and I did a print not so long ago and I notice a flood of black ink on a section of the paper any help or suggestions on how to correct that?
When i pull the ink through syringe into the damper, it's coming, but when I take out syringe, it goes back into the ink tank. What's the problem?

ET-2810 eco printer ink is not flowing into the tank purchased last year .I have tried everything so far but the ink is just not flowing from the bottles to the tank. Help!
how many millimetres the green syringe green nozzle adaptor should be? 1 or 2.2mm? trying to order one online but not sure which one to select?
On another issue, I have run the cleaning processes a number of times but the Magentas ink just would not print and the rest of the print is also very poor quality. All tanks are nearly full

On the front of my printer, all inks are showing from ¼ to ¾ full. Black is lowest. Did a print out and the cyan is not coming out. It was working fine 2 weeks ago... what do I do?
What size gauge and length did you use for the adapter? I accidentally put cyan where black is supposed to be. So mad at myself.

Have you ever swapped out sublimation ink to echo solvent water-based ink in an Epson eco-tank 15000? I was told by a few people that it will tear up my printer. Did you swap out the inks yet? I'm looking to go from Eco Solvent to Sublimation but too scared it will damage the printer
@@simmelprints No,I just bought another one because it will lock up your printer from what I understand. I’ve been told if any of the 2 inks come together it actually turns to gel and it ruins your printer.

I mistakenly put the standard ink in, instead of sublimation ink. After removing the ink, will I need to flush the reservoirs before adding the sublimation ink?
I didn’t, but I did do allot of prints before adding the sublimation ink to get as much of the other ink out as possible.
How do you flush the system? None of my colors work

My ink has stopped flowing I'm.to one of my cartridges how do I sort that problem out.and my.in is full in the tanks
Where he says you could pull the ink from but would take longer, I put the syringe there and sucked the ink just enough to get the ink flowing in there again and that worked for me.
@@aliciafowler4320 I done the same replaced it with sublimation ink and it’s not flowing into the rear cartridges and isn’t printing. I don’t know what to do next

@@chrissyhoyle5799 Did you ever find out how to re-charge the rear cartridges from the main tanks? (reservoirs) The Epson 2800 series only gives you a "one time only" option to charge your cartridges from the tanks when the unit is brand new.
