I got this thing on first attempt on normal difficulty, all you need to do is move closer and closer on the bridge by very small amounts and send your pet down to aggro the telkin. If you walk too far, he'll break the chain and sickle is gone. If you aggro him before the animation for chain breaking triggers though (using your pet), the sickle stays. There, that's the entire trick.
You are absolutely right I followed your advice with the dreamlike image as fart. And I got the legendary one on the first try. Well seen amigo.

The requirement for the sickle is level 80. It used to be lvl 73.

I got this item on normal difficulty. I have no idea how though, but I definitely stashed it! The stats you need to use it is crazy though! But I will play until I can use it. Can't wait!

i recently reopened the game after years, little backround information ( my grandpa plays the game via steam family share, he has 33 lvl 26 characters stuck in the olymph) i inspected all characters from the steam cloud and found 2 Sickle's :D so my gpa found them playing the game the most casually way while progressing normal difficulty
I love how this game is a pretty good D2 experence.. Something I've been looking for and wanted back.. Hated the D3 racing through evverything as fast as possible or path of exile with the crazy flicker fast builds... But every video of titan quest I see everyone Jack's the speed up and completely destroys the experience the feel of the classic experence. Maybe it's just me.
In the beginning, before i started using the very fast speed mode, i thought the same but after i tried it i saw that actually the immersion of the game is not broken with higher speeds and it feels really good playing faster. Don't worry, this game is not crazy fast as D3 or POE.
"fast" in TQ feels a bit like regular speed in Grim Dawn, it's my favorite speed of the 3 available(except v.fast for quick farming, ofc)
I got it on first kill of the telkiene at Wusao Mountain on Normal

i got this on my first ever playthrough on normal on my first time ever fighting this boss
HOW TO DO THIS IN MOBILE VERSION? There is no way to click on the monster to cast skill on mobile.
I don't know as i've never played the mobile version, try to cast a wolf skill or Sylvan Nymph next to the boss from a safe distance maybe.

Got it at normal on my second kill (first one with a mage)... but I'm just at lvl 32 LOL
I only remember this thing dealing 50-55 damage or something but having no requirements at all so it was pretty powerful for new characters but crap once you're able to find it yourself

Dai o chefe lá em baixo vai atacar o seu pet , Pronto é só decer la e matar o chefe q ele vai dropar a Adamantine Sickle of Kronos .
Ran in with my druid, being "eh" about actually getting the sickle, being first time there and all. But then it did not disappear and it dropped... My reaction was pretty much "...whaaaat?".
Also the Telkine got somewhat stuck between battle/moving-animation and was torn down by my pets.
No shit in my third try this fucker dropped and I sold it :'l

I tried to get this item on old TQ:IT Gold Edition (not Steam), all i got is regular sickle of kronos (normal white item and without "adamantine" prefix)
The stats are: 23-35 damage, required dex 10, required strength 10, no level restriction
Tried it on all difficulties normal-epic-legendary and on both the TQ (patch 1.30) and TQ:IT (patch 1.17a)
So, i guess this is only available on AE, or anyone can prove otherwise? Please let me know
To be honest i never bother with the Sickle of Kronos in the gold edition of IT so i don't know the answer to that. But if i find out i will let you know.
I play the gold edition and I found the sickle of kronos and it's a pussy level item. it's kinda cool to have it because it's rare, but other than that it's just garbage.

with that? So i got upgrade exelent sword without options and put it in 2
relicts, what was give me apertunity to block all my titan quest game
and crashed files, and i cant go back into game, when i deleted just one
save game, that where i was wearing my self maded sword, i got crash

I don't know unfortunately.
You can get it first try by sending your pet down there to trigger the fight, and that's all you have to do

I got this item just by a random drop on Legendary but there is also some info on AStats about getting this achievement:
"You can get him to drop it by sending pets ahead to attack him before he cuts Typhon's chains. This can be tricky, because if you move too far along the ramp into the area the chain-cutting animation starts and your chance is lost. Edge along the ramp slowly until you can send your pets ahead." So maybe you have to try to get it by using your pet builds.

Fae...something interesting....in telkin act2 in normal with a character lv 20, I got the item 2 times (around 30 runs). Crazy....lv 20 got a item lv 8X? LOL

Hi I have every big glitch problem. First I playing on PS4 I have buy all versions for game. When I play without level one character and start at level 40 only then I have automatically updated relict value expansion but I play from level one and pass to epic but still I have level one on relict value how to get level 2 or level 3? And on PS4 don't have meny options but I pay for game as well playing on pc and buy. Why do I don't have this options and why not working game on keyboard and mouse was more fun. Please answer me asap.
Hi, this is probably a bug which needs to get fixed by the developers. I don't know of a way to fix it especially on consoles which i don't play on.

This is why they call it "grinding". Out of curiosity, is there a rare item that effectively becomes it's own currency in "Titan Quest" similar to say the SoJs in "Diablo II"?
No, there is no such item in TQ, after all to have such items you need a game that has constant online trading, TQ has no such thing. There are some rare items though that could play such a role, one of these would be the Giant's Tooth legendary weapon of Ragnarok!

Yes, in Normal it has great chances to drop but remember, this item is NOT a legendary! You can also enchant it with a component!
I have a idea..try to make a caracter that have pets, and then make your pet to go at Ormenos, earth is a good mastery. If you make it, let me know.

Hit chronos with the +300% movement speed skill, hunting, warfare, defense mastery has those skills. You can even kill chronos there butit wont matter, tho the trick is just hit chronos or hit the telkine at the fastest way then the sickle stays.

can you find this sword? is name is "Silence" this sword appear in the in the magic shop, you can find it in epic difficult (i find this item defeating a aracno in the first cave
I don't know if there is a specific place to find this item but i think that it is random.
The Line of Epic Heroes ok, the first aracno cave is very good to farm items, in 3 seach's i found 3 legendary items abd 5 epic

The Line of Epic Heroes yes, but i have the sword its very good for epic difficulty on every zone (egypt, babilonia etc)

If it is a purple item on Switch then yes, it is viable in legendary as long as you create a build to support the weapon, i have a playlist in the channel with videos about a build im working on for this item!
I got this without any pets in normal difficulty do not know why but after telkine release the titan it doesn't not gone!!
This is normal, in Normal difficulty there are good chances this may happen!

i've finally managed to get it!! it's requirements are ridiculous however and im not even sure if the damage it does is worth it, i've not used it yet as my character is no where near strong enough or smart enough!! so happy to have found it though, btw, i got it in normal difficulty!! i farmed epic for ages and no luck, normal i got on the second go!!!

I got this object while I didn`t expect, for nathing!!!, In mode Wizard of batle, In Normal mode , I think . and I not remember how I got it. Maybe with electrums, or killing the Tifon,

got the sickle too but the requirements are oot of this world, 3000 strength and 1000 intelligence, gooooood luck with that haha, apparently the rest of your gear must all have -requirements

Got 5 of it from the telkine in Wusao.
I was lucky because it dropped on the third run, and on normal mode (and I didn't know about the sickle, was just farming)
I also found it on normal mode, maybe on normal it has more chances, who knows.
I'm playing the game in Normal difficulty. I have two lvl 33 characters, Conqueror and Elementalist. I think my game is bugged. I've been in there 10 times and have recovered 8 of these Sickles. They have a bleeding damage ranging from 810 to 1020. Otherwise identical.
I'm getting kinda tired of seeing them. I've actually been trying to farm unique items.
It would be better for you to continue in Epic difficulty and maybe farm there for unique items because in normal diff. you can not get Legendary items, Legendaries start dropping in Epic!

2) I apologize for not being clear:
a. I’m playing in Normal mode because I haven’t beat it yet.
b. I wasn’t farming for Legendary items, that’s why I was surprised to get eight of them. I’m farming to try and get Set items. In Normal mode I don’t expect to get Legendary items.
c. The reason for my prior post was for the question that it contained; “Is my game bugged?”.
Oh yes, i forgot to tell you that this item is not categorized as Legendary, it has the same colour as Legs. do but it is not and i know that this becomes confusing some times! This also means you can enchant it with a charm/relic!
Don't you have to save before exiting the game? I thought you lost progress if you didn't.
I never save the game, i always rely to rebirth fountains to save my progress, i do not bother with the save button.
I got it on normal when farming the last telkine on the 5th time xD
So what u have to do is wait at the long bridg-y thing and send ur pet to the telkine. The telkine will attack your pet and he will still hold the sickle. The sickle is white tho.
It is white in the old Immortal Throne version, in Anniversary edition it is purple!

Did they change the sickle? Cuz I vaguely remember getting the telkine to drop it back when I played Titan Quest Gold Edition and its stats SUCKED. I remember how overwhelmingly disappointed I was that the legendary sickle that even had a blue glow around it was so weak. Now, just got the sickle, my jaw was floored by how powerful its stats are.
I don't think they made any changes to it, im not sure though.

I don't know if the xmax mod or some other farming mods do work for this specific run. if they do, then this would save a lot of time ;-)

Yeap, it is possible but you need to find very good items that will allow you to equip it!

I'm currently only early Epic and in fact got that item on Normal while gaining exp for the secondary character I'm working on. The problem I have is that it's listed as a level 80 item so.... for now consoles are only up to level 65 I think??

XD I tried it on normal difficulty and i got it first try when i ran into the telkine, now i use the common (white) item on my level 2 character. Also one question. Where do i farm essence of the domain of dragon kings? I know it is in china but what is the best place to get it? Thanks and keep up the good work!
This relic drops from Ichtians monsters, the best place probably is in the Gardens of Babylon. Use the waypoing to get to the Gardens and from there walk through the Gardens and kill all Ichtians, you should get the relic.

I got this item ( Sickle of Kronos ) on the normal level on the original version of the game ( not steam ) and then I could import copies of that character to the expansion version ( Immortal Throne ) but the item is so pussy whipped that it has zero use, so there's no point in importing copies of it anyway.
I guess in the Steam version they changed it if you say it's the most powerful item in the game
A question. can you use cheats on the Steam version like ''SKINS''? And one more, does this version also have both normal ( Titan Quest ) and expansion ( Immortal Throne) ?

Thanks! The skins cheat doesn't seem to work in AE. AE indeed has both TQ and Immortal throne expansion in one installation folder as one game now in AE! And also it has many hundreds of changes and bugfixes!
That's too bad, the skins hack is fun and if it's just the expansion and not the two games then you can't import copies from one to the other. well at least you can import copies from the original game to the Steam version if I understood one of your posts here correctly.

No! It seems you misunderstood, i meant that Titan Quest base game and Immortal throne expansion in the AE edition are one and the same, they have been merged, you do not need to install first TQ and then IT, they are installed as one game. AE is not only the expansion, it's the base game with the expansion.
Well it's not that it really matters anyway, for some reason Steam doesn't work on my computer, I got a tech to download it for me and he couldn't get it work correctly either. so I'll just stick with the original game and I still prefer having the two games TQ and IT. thanks for straightening that out for me. ;)
If you send your pet to monster that gets sickle from above, sickle is not lost..
If you don't have a pet build though, you can not send a pet, you have to go down yourself...

Артём Соболев 3000 strenght, 2000 dexterity, and it does 500-550 damage and +100% damage to titans, its a great item

Артём Соболев yes, use either cheats or farm for ages, or just use a ton of hale item that gives you strengt, and always put your point in dexterity and pick masteries with the most dexterity gain per level. Or install soulvizier mod, hope that you can get the item in soulvizier. You can get really high stats in soulvizier

I haven't tried it yet but it should be, there are some items that reduce the requirements for equipping items, maybe a combination of those items with the right masteries can do the trick. I will definitely create a build for this specific item in the future.
If i play the old version and now I want to buy the steam version, can I use my olds characters ? i have many in level 40 and one in 59 and i don't want to loose them :(

The Line of Epic Heroes I ve use to found that weapon on normal diff and i was tried to farm them and now, i have 3. but i cant pick another one when you carry some, because dual Sicles... Thats overpowered.
Why not farming on legendary?
It would take more time to finish each run and there is no real gain on doing this on legendary although i don't know if on legendary there is a higher chance for this to drop. But i already found it once on Normal, so i don't think Legendary makes any difference.
can you get the sickle of cronos in the old version?
Yes, you should be able to get it.
