I wish it played the tunes a little slower. It sounds as if it's trying to be done playing the tune, as if it's in a rush. Even Once upon a dream sounded underwhelming coz of the speed and lack of gravitas of each note. Gorgeous piece nonetheless.
I totally agree. In my opinion Thorens was able to capture the true beauty of melody and speed and depth into their musicboxes and mechanisms. Reuge is just more of a mass-production after all, or?
