NICE Balanced Sound Lassiter! Sort of reminds of Blue Devils Drum Corps back in the 80's or 90's. Looking forward to hearing, and seeing you on New Years Day in the Rose Parade.
Nah Mr. Thompson is good, just give him a few years. Great instructor, knows when to be strict and when to be nice, very good at his instrument and a great overall leader. We also have a new percussion director and he marched DCI front ensemble, so our percussion will end up having a really good pit sound. Our snare line is passable, but it'll need some more work if we actually want to succeed. I think if I wasn't moving next year I coulda been section leader as a sophmore and helped the snares work the kinks out, but of course I am indeed moving. Mr. Thompson wasn't as great as our last band director, but don't underestimate him; he's got a great understanding of music as a whole.
