  • Good afternoon. I have another design team project for you. Here is a tutorial, from start to finish, for an explosion box using the Explosion Box Score Board by We Are Memory Keepers. This is a recreation of the Christmas box I made that became so popular that I started doing tutorials on how to use this board. I LOVE THIS TOOL! It is so fun to use and has so many possibilities. I have several more ideas...and they all use this board. It is available at Country Craft Creations, along with so many more supplies and papers...check them out at www.countrycraftcreations.com
    This box used the following items...All are from Country Craft Creations except for the foam dots:
    One pack of Photo Play "Camp Happy Bear" papers (12 double sided sheets of patterned paper and a sticker sheet)
    9 (12 x 12) sheets of Kraft Artisan Cardstock
    2 (12 x 12) sheets of Brown Artisan Cardstock
    Art Glitter Glue
    Foam Dots ( I used these in the decorations, I popped up the stickers on the lids)
    Flowers from my stash

    I actually made my second box, it turned out pretty 🤩 amazing, I didn’t have time to get special paper from Country Crafts, but I’m definitely addicted to these projects of yours. That everyone in my family will get something different. Keep those excellent tutorials coming, I’ve learned so much from them your very explicit description of every detail is amazing to say the least. Thank You 🙏🏼. I also have been accepted in the group too. 💙🙏🏼💙. I’m in love 🥰 with the glue too. I’m definitely in need of more.

      I made two explosion boxes for little boys with September birthdays. I tucked dollar bills into one and the other one I made as a Spiderman project. I put points out where the hearts were on the other. I would send a photo but do not know how to send it to you. Thanks for sharing this idea. @@michelleallenacreativeoper6112

    Thanks for the PERFECT tutorial! You are so very creative and organized. You explain everything so well.
    I can’t wait to try to make one of these explosion boxes.
    A quick question...would the XXL lid be able to contain all of the layers if each layer didn’t have it’s own lid?
    I was thinking of making the XXS box and lid to house a gift, but just have the outside (XXL) lid and wasn’t sure if that would work.
    Thank you again...your project is beautiful. 😍

    • @michelleallenacreativeoper6112
      @michelleallenacreativeoper6112  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would work very well! You don’t have to have all of the lids, it was just too fun to make them all!

    Can these be made without the board? They are all so beautiful!!!

    • @michelleallenacreativeoper6112
      @michelleallenacreativeoper6112  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they can. I made up a chart in my blog for measurements of this board. It will give you an idea of what the board scores at. creativeoperation.blogspot.com/2021/01/what-to-do-with-your-explosion-box.html?m=1. If you use 12x12 paper and start with 4” scores all around for the first box then you can cut the next ones smaller and score smaller, so maybe the next one would be 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 and score at 3 1/2 all around. I hope that makes sense.

    How can I create the explosion box without the Scoreboard?

    • @michelleallenacreativeoper6112
      @michelleallenacreativeoper6112  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as you have a square piece of paper and can score it into thirds , you can do this. The board just makes it easier to do because it’s all figured out for you. There are a lot of tutorials out there. I haven’t done one “from scratch” like this but have done some versions of them. Check out my past videos.
