@@MgpblwNowadays, Food Network is literally nothing but Chopped, DDD, and that walking used tampon Bobby Flay, the same thing every single day. I’ll take this show and Emeril Live over that other crap any day of the week
If they shot this show today, it would be called $40 per meal and it would have the same effect. I used to love this show back when Food Network was Food Network.
@@brittany4206I just watched the episode where she’s in New York and it was so boring, literally EVERYTHING she ate that day was vegetables. For lunch she got what was essentially a burrito with nothing but vegetables in it and for dinner she had like a vegetarian lasagna or something. In the late 90s/early 2000s, you could go to NYC and find affordable restaurants that served meat.
@@johnselwitz5362 Idk what her problem was… I watched the one where she was at a steakhouse in Cape Cod and she ordered a fish stew. 😂 She should just be a self-proclaimed pescatarian. How do you order a meat n three dinner from a mom and pop in the Deep South and not get any meat? I’m ready to flip a table! Love the show but it bugs me haha
I love this show. It’s the perfect escape from reality. ❤
Indeed it is!
So true
I hope you keep posting more of these one of my favorite shows😊
Nostalgia ❤

I agree. Food Network used to have great shows. I don't know what happened.

It's so sad that all of the restaurants shown in this episode have closed in the last several years. Middleton Place is the only one still open.

MONEY MONEY MONAAAY
I remember this show.
Thank you and please leave in commercials!
The commercials were edited out on the original recordings. On some episodes a few commercials were left in and I am leaving those in on the uploads.
So sad all of these restaurants in this video are no longer 😢
NOT TRUE Jestine's still exists..
@@gorgeouss79 hmm I looked it up said permanently closed. Did they move to another location?
@@gorgeouss79no it doesn’t, sadly. It was always my favorite!
2 years before I was born
Today's RR would never visit a plantation today 😂
Then she glamorized it all! And had the nerve to eat at the slave quarters
Your sentence is redundant
Do you have the show GREAT HOTELS with Samantha Brown?
A “magnificent old plantation “ is crazy Rachel 😒
And none of these restaurants are here today.
I remember thinking “man, she sucks at tipping”
$39.99 she was under budget by 1 cent!
That dinner looks flavorless
The word is Ochro not Okra!
No protein with that lunch?
Uhhh… you know black eye peas and red beans both have a bunch, right?
I know that but I Meant meats, like fried chicken. What she got was just a bunch of side dishes
I thought the same thing! Low country with no meat? Shame.
