The thing is that not every shooter or games that requires aim has the same consistency, jugability, aim parameters, 360° things and stuff, so you might be good for cs go and not for teamfortress 2, good for pubg but not for fortnite, etc.

DeFalt Markowicz anyone who plays as much as him can get those one taps, by luck or by skill. He plays pretty much daily hours a day every day so he gets plenty of practise. I think the reason why he adapts so fast to games is cause he plays a variety of games a lot and he got used to gaming at a young age.

Tbh it may seem like he's crazy at all times, but as he says "There is someone who's more consistent" which means he do plays daily so he really gets alot of plays even if not today maybe the next day.

@labib Ahmed I've been playing FPS games longer than Shroud and I'm still not on his level. We are both just as mechanically sound as the other(except his reaction time is obviously better than mine), but where I second guess all of my decisions he doesn't. Like sniping, I die a lot sniping because I try to line up that perfect headshot and I end up missing my opportunity. Shroud just takes the shot as soon as his crosshair is over his targets head, knowing it'll more than likely drop him. That's confidence too.

well to be fair.. if u ask most top csgo pros they will also answer the same thing.. they can't admit they have an insane aim.. because in match against another pros they can't always dominate a match..
TBH a lot of that is intent. I notice I aim for the body in many games because it's the easiest target, but I find if I consciously aim for the head, I really don't have a hard time hitting it.
Well Shroud plays CS:GO. From his experience there are still someone have better aim than him. Great example is S1mple.
This guy hasn’t seen any competitive CSGO players like screaM play.
Shroud does have good aim, don’t get me wrong. But he doesn’t have the best. Many players like screaM,Relaaa and siritron are people who have arguably better aim than shroud. From all different games.
What makes shroud different is his adaptive skills, he’s good at pretty much every FPS game he plays regardless of what it is.

-skuaz- no it is mostly skill for shroud, if you watch most of his flicks slowed down you can see shroud do insanely quick adjustments once the person is in shroud’s FOV.
Its just muscle memory, if you dont practice u never learn it. I have perfect flicks after practicing the sensitivity of mouse, people just watch this streamers and thing they're talented but its just practice guys, practice and focus on be one of the best. i mean no doubt about that shroud is a god .. but i watched some videos played with 2 collegues both plat 2 and got plat 3 within 30 hours aswell its mostly about game knowledge
@@eXImReal Rainbow Six Siege is a team game, mostly getting carried. There is no way you can have knowledge of the strats and mechanics at that game under 100 hours. Ofcourse you can have basic shooter knowledge, positioning, aim placement ect but those people would be carried for most part 100%. Does not mean they are not good at all. I have a friend that is not good at shooters at all and only plays with good people and hit plat 3 as well. Obviously not trying to bash shroud or your collegues but basing someone's skill on the rank they achieve under a certain ammount of time is a bad calculation. Its so with every competitive shooter. So many more factors come into play to conclude wether someone is succesfull at a game or not.

But I guess different games have different mechanisms for that and ..his ability to learn it quick makes sense...

As a fighting game player I'd be interested to see Shroud trying to learn a game like Street Fighter V or Tekken 7. I'd be curious to see without his aim how fast he could adapt and learn a totally different kind of competitive game; dealing with a new peripheral like an arcade stick. Perhaps he could stream with a pro player like a Justin Wong or a fellow streamer like Maximilian or Aris who could coach him and see how much he can absorb in a short period of time.
Plenty of place for frustration and fun that would make for good viewing and pull in fans from other communities.
Im sure many people would watch this, amazing idea YMB :) i now will fall asleep hoping this happens
he probably would be realllllyyy shit at first tbh lol, and that's it, and it would probably take a long time for that to change, shroud's sick at games, and it would probably take him less time to improve than say a completely new player who's never played anything before, but fighting games are so different that i imagine that there is virtually no overlap between it and his other gaming skills, so it'd be like learning a completely new thing and trying to become competitive in it.
@@thekamotodragon There is the hand to eye coordination, the mindset that got him pro (Learning how to improve from a good player to become a pro). There is a lot of stuff that overlap between games, different mechanics or not.
@@KoNViiKz Yeah I think there will be more overlap on a fundamental level than others might think, what makes it interesting is how fast the king of adaptation can pick it up.
He would obviously suck pretty hard to begin with but part of the fun would be seeing him so outside of his comfort zone; he already has plenty of content that involves him kicking ass.

No but you can increase the strength of your relative pitch which many consider to be better than perfect pitch because if you have strong relative pitch then you also must have a strong knowledge of music theory. Perfect pitch isn’t actually all what people say it is. Most people would probably consider having perfect pitch a curse rather than a blessing. Interesting stuff though.
Shroud I don't know if this is something you're remotely interested but hearing you talk about flexibility in games I think it'd be neat to see you try your hand at something way outside your normal gameplay, like some Paradox strategy games or something. I know that's not exactly what you're talking about but it'd be interesting.

I remember when shroud broke his arm he went to play eso and he beat one of the hardest arenas first try, meanwhile there is people that have been trying to beat it for days with no broken arms and still cant. Its on alcast channel or type shroud vma alcast. I do belive his ability to adapt is his strongest trait. Also how during the cod modern warfare beta he was getting beat by people with controller but he also noticed that their weakness was turning too fast so him and his team mate just rushed them around corners so they couldn't keep up and he won. He adapts very well and fast.

This is what I love about Shroud. He can talk about his talents without being bashful, but at the same, he isn't an arrogant prick. Just a chill guy who is aware of his talent, and loves entertaining people.
I think his "flashy" movement is where he stands out the most, esp from his bhopping cs days.

What Shroud inspired me was that always be positive when you win or lose. Don’t take it to serious, just have fun and you’ll become a pro. This is what I’ve seen and learned from Shroud. To my opinion, Shroud is a humble, honest, positive, and professional gamer I’ve ever seen. Not like Doc (always blaming game or someone) or Ninja (rude to teammates during game).
True, but Doc is a act he isnt actually like that, and ninja just a twat. Cs pro scene has changed over the last few years shoud has left tho it is far more difficult than back in the day.
Galaxy 4476 doc is just a persona. He is a really chill down to earth guy.

I mean his aim is very good and for an non pro it is insane.. but there are many people out there with better aim. Pretty much every active CS pro has better aim because they focus on that. Put him 1 on 1 vs s1mple, Twistzz, Brollan, NiKo, or all these guys and he gets destroyed. But then again these guys probably couldn't beat Shroud in COD, PUBG, or whatever..

Hes not being modest he is a great player dont get me wrong but this man competed in counter strike with the best aimers in the world and could barley keep up .... Love the guy to death but when he was playing against the best aimers in the world .... he got out aimed ALOT! 90% of the csgo community would tell you the same.... i mean shroud even made a video about it himself and how he felt about playing cs ..... when he stepped into a world of aimers it really showed the level his aim was at(He is insane) but 100 people out there even better.

I think Shroud is also known for his incredible game sense. Kinda plays into what he's saying with being good at any game. He understands mechanics and how the game plays out. Knows where enemies will be and what they're thinking about doing based on what their best options are. Kinda like playing 3D chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

It's the result from playing a lot of games not just one and being always consistent with his settings(sensitivity, res etc...) and a lot of training as well

You could have a 220 ms reaction time on one of those click timing tests, but have a really good 'practical' reaction time (I don't know the scientific name I've forgotten it already lol). Practical reaction time is the time you take to react and counter by the way. I'm not a shroud fanboy I'm just pointing it out btw
I've heard people talk about Shroud's aim a thousand times, but I've never heard mention of his breathing technique while gaming. You can noticeably hear him hold his breath (every time) right before he pulls the trigger.
