Invited a friend over to make petries. She is a craft person but has never made anything from Resin. At the finish of our project, she asked "what do I do with the "B" part? of course, we had to start over on her project. These petris are amazing, Myriam! I can't decide which I like the best! The round petri almost looks cosmic to me like a galaxy or what a hurricane would look like on another planet! "Dum dum dum dum!" Oh you made me laugh and smile. 8-) Things I'd like to see? I know you mix the white ink with resin to get a soft cloudy effect; what I'm now wondering is, what would it look like if you combined the two techniques? That is, have soft-cloudy mixed-with-resin white, AND undiluted white ink, in a deeper mould, to see a combination of different 3D looks. As for different shape suggestions, me, I'm very fond of hexagons.
(My Marabu metallics are still not here. I know I must be patient, but watching you play with them is making me impatient!)

The back of the round one looks just like “Winter Wonderland” absolutions gorgeous, but I have to leave some adjectives for the square one too LOL. The metallic,the glitter,oh,just wondrous LOL. Drill a small hole and add an eye hook to make sun catchers. 😷🖖
Maybe try putting some of the glitter in the dish before the resin. Maybe then you would have more glitter on the bottom side
Such pretty results, and you obviously are having so much fun. When you use pipettes for resin, I assume you have to throw them away because there is no way to clean them. Am I correct?
Theyre amazing, i luv the unmoulding cos i always look fir shapes and in ur unmoulding of the circular on i see a little fish (like nemo or Dory) little fat body with lips n a fin n a tail n the square on is like a kealidescope i luv them, look for nemo n let me know if u find him😂👍💖

Hello from mumbai, india. Love the final effects with a sparkle. Since we do not get this or any other brand of sparkling alcohol ink, would it work to put some alcohol ink in a small bottle and add mica powder to get the sparkle???do you think this would work???thank you for your valuable advice.
Hi! love the stuff you do! I need some help though I have no idea what I am doing wrong.... Using alcohol inks and epoxy resin to make coasters and other things... but the ink just wont sink.... I am doing exactly the same. Colour of ink then a white then a ink then a white but it just seems like the white isnt heavy enough or something? Please help! :(
I've been seeing a lot of resin coasters that simulate opals. I would love to see your take on that.
I have been practicing with the Marabu inks in resin, and you were wondering what people did with theirs? Well, I have been making coasters but I have also been making suncatchers. I have not posted on your Facebook group page in quite a while, but I will go to the group page and post them. Also, I have ordered the new colors but won't be able to get them till Jan. when I go back to the States. I am having lots of fun with what I have. I do have a question if you paint on wood or anything with the rainbow, it became s hard to clean off of the brush. What do you clean the rainbow ink off the brush if I use 99% it gets gummy. so I have been using the extender? On one of the suncatchers, I have a small wood dreamcatcher and I painted it with the Marabu inks and put the rainbow on top of the color and then put resin over it. I will post them to the group page.

When making sun catchers, please keep in mind that alcohol inks aren’t lightfast. Over time, if left in direct sunlight, many colors will fade, change, or sadly even disappear.
About the paintbrush, I tend to dedicate a brush to the glitter inks (because invariably there are a couple of glitter flakes left behind no matter how much I clean it), but I haven’t had too much trouble getting it clean with 99%. If you have Pinata Clean Up solution, give that a try. It’s ethanol, rather than Isopropyl alcohol, and therefore is a bit stronger at dissolving the ink base. I hope that helps a tiny bit. 😊💕 Happy inking!!
@@MyriamsNature thank you I got them posted, It's the first time I posted in about a year, I had 4 deaths last year and lost my creativity for a while but I found music helped. About the UV protection in the Clear Cast I thought that would help if not I will just keep them indoors, I love hanging colorful and sparkly things.

Hi Vtoria... like you, I haven’t found 91% isopropyl alcohol easily. Your best bet is 99% on Amazon if your local pharmacy doesn’t stock any.
