Considering this is Lava's first in this segment they have done a good job. If they can fix these s/w issues then they can fill the gaps which Xiaomi is creating now in the market with their downfall.
They released a software issue
Lava should start releasing kernel sources for custom rom developers. Rest will be taken care by the community.

I have brought the phone and I kinda like it. I know there are bugs and few issues but it's a really bold attempt by LAVA to give it's phone an upmarket feel. For me the most important thing is clean Android without ads and bloatware. I see a lot that of other manufacturers load their phones with ads and bloatware in this segment and also steal personal information. Agni 2 is a good phone with few issues which every phone has and all the issues are not a deal breaker

2:05 Thats due to TH-cam Compression, it may appear more exaggerated on some phones than others due to difference in contrast and sharpness.
Some phones try to overcome this by smoothening the the video at expense of sharpness. (Micromax IN Note 1 does this)

10:30 Thats probably because Android precompiles and caches bytecode for commonly used apps while phone is charging. it's a CPU intensive task and may cause overheating, but this is more noticeable on newly purchased phone/freshly formatted phone/after installing lots of new apps. once the precompilation is done, in 3-4 days phone becomes Faster and issue would be gone.

1:50 Colour Banding is usually due to YT compression, but the oversaturation and extra sharpness of the screen which you mentioned before must be making the banding much more noticeable.
Can it be fixed through a software update?
The lag with PIP you speak about in 4:18 is something I also experience on my galaxy a22 5g. It has a dimensity 700 processor which is similar to 7050. I think its some limitation of the mediatek SOC in general. Which the snapdragon 695 does not have. I also notice the CPU cores running at full tilt when watching netflix, hotstar, etc. Perhaps, mediatek cheaped out on the media decoder part.
I am using this phone from the last 5 days, at the beginning after placing my phone's order and watching some videos on LAVA AGNI 2 I thought the bugs can be removed by a software update.... But after I received my phone.. I don't know if I am lucky or not but there were no bugs!!!!!! ( except the little brightness one) .... I am more than happy and the camera is not just decent, It is great... I am glad that I bought this phone... I suggest that u guys should go far LAVA AGNI 2 rather than REALME 11 PRO ( No Hatred)....
I would like to make you happy by saying that even my iphone 14 pro max has this brightness bug. Suddenly the videos get too bright out of no where.

ok so i bought this 2 weeks ago , from my side this is the best phone you can get under 22k like seriously .... talking about the display , to be honest a normal user like me don't even mind the saturation cuz colours look more punchy and enjoyable , for charging issue you said ... mine gets fully charged in 40 mins , power button is also making sound , camera is best if i compare to other phones my family members have so its good , no heating issues after 1-2 hr bgmi , ya i agree there are 2-3 major bugs with this but we should give them time to fix them ...... overall it's beyond my expectations

I think high contrast + saturation ki wajah se hi Banding effect aa raha hai.
Clicking sound from haptics can be avoided by increasing the feedback time to say 50-70ms from keyboard settings.
Overall it seems a 100% worth for price phone, not because it's Indian but because of the features only
All disadvantages he stated were manageable.

It's fascinating how most of the problems with this phone boil down to the software. Considering how powerful it is, you'd think it would just work smoothly without any fuss. I can't wait to see the full potential of this phone when Lava releases its device drivers and other tools. The custom ROM scene for this phone is gonna be so damn interesting. I still rock my trusty old MI-A3 as my second phone, even though it's been around for four years now. With custom ROMs and tweaks, the photos I take with it using GCam are on point. And let's not forget the SD665 chipset that gives it a score of around 300k in Antutu, way better than the stock performance of just 200k. Some of my buddies actually prefer my old MI-A3 over my fancy flagship, especially when it comes to low-light photography and quick shots. If this phone gets as much love from the community as the MI-A3 did, it's gonna be freaking awesome.
Might even consider buying it if its custom rom support grows.
Lava done a excellent job in agni 2. Like every phone it's also have many flaws where have scope of improvement. Now a days lava taking customer feedback seriously and I noticed their efforts of improving themselves. Blaze 2 is one example of it. Blaze and blaze 2 user experience itself explain everything.

5:07 sir actually the problem is related with ram, of ram runs out the screen goes black I've seen this issue in many stock Android phones starting from Android 11, though you're not using anything some background process is consuming the ram and due to shortage of ram the phone doesn't has even little bit of processing power to display anything except that white navigation bar at the bottom, the 20 sec long press method for force reboot is deeply tied into Android and runs on main thread to counter such problems where your Android phone hangs up
There is no way 8GB ram phone would run out of ram due to background processes😂

2. My old Realme C3
3. My uncles Realme C3

All these are fixed using forced restart.

I really really loved this phone. I don't have any problem with camera or over exaggerated colours BUT the wifi connectivity issue is the bummer for me.
I face the same wifi issue with my Lenovo yoga tablet , so we moved the wifi closer but now it doesn't connect at all with any wifi 😔 and I can't even re sell it, stuck with it.
Living in a place (Andaman) where mobile data is not good we have to rely on wifi.
So yeah can't make the mistake again as my tablet 💔

That pip video mode lag is also in most Xiaomi phones but the thing is while in pip the video is playing in 60 fps so the phone automatically switches the ui to 60 hz even if you have set the display to higher refresh rate
Why choose Lava ? first of all its Rs 2000 cheaper than realme 11 pro still all are comparing it with the expensive phone Realme 11 pro:

How is the Camera performance of Moto G73 vs Agni 2's camera?
Other than screen I do not think G73 falls much behind Agni 2.
Dim 7050 is basically 1080 which is basically 920 plus 4% speed boost, so 930 would be neck and neck with this. . .

The display artifacting that's causing those circles is because they're using something to oversharpen produced images. I've held this phone on hand and even icons on the homescreen, once big enough, look weirdly oversharpened.
My theory is that there's something wrong with the anti-aliasing algorithms.
