here's a good tip: never buy more hangers than your closet can handle. That way you only shop when you are donating stuff and have empty hangers to fill, so you only ever have a certain number of clothes in your closet.

Tara, you should try doing the Marie Komara method. It's great. It also shows how to do ur drawers. Have a party with ur friend that are the same or almost the same size as u and ask them to bring 10 items of clothing that the dont wear and do exchanges and have a girls nite. And if ur party of friend still clothes that they brought left that has not been exchanged ask if they would donate it. And put in a box or bag for donations. Have fun. I had a blast when I did it.
Suggestion... if you find it’s hard to maintain dedicate one or two days a week with a block of time for folding and hanging clean clothes... it’ll become much more manageable than leaving it for one day. 😗 entertaining video and give you a lot of credit for getting so much done while having a busy social night!

You should try the KonMari method for keeping your stuff organized! Marie Kondo's Netflix show can teach you how to do it and honestly it changed my life and the functionality of it!
lol you're like the last roommate I had, she would just throw clothes on the floor all the time too and then every couple months she's have to spend the ENTIRE day picking it all up and cleaning her room.

I have a closet that’s probably 4 feet wide and less than 2 feet back. I also prefer to hangtops instead of cold but it doesn’t work because I have a whole dresser to tank tops and shirts I almost never wear. 😒 on top of my second dresser for pants and swim suits which I need more room for and the third dresser is socks and bras on the left and junk like candles and folders on the right. Just not realizing I have a clothing problem.
