I had a dream once where I tweeted the guys at Rooster Teeth to ask them for a happy birthday tweet. A few days later, I got a text from a number I had never seen saying "come outside", and when I walked outside I saw a van, in which Geoff opened the door and pulled me in. We then had Bevs and went bowling.
How does everyone remember their dreams? I can like wake up, think huh, that was a weird dream, and go to tell someone about it, and then it is like mystically gone from my memory.
Because your brains like "Pffft that wasn't real it's just useless information I better delete it from my hard drive." You need to wake up write it down then you wont forget it usually.
Goombalo10 I like to picture the brain being like "God mom! stop reading my fanfic!!" Then deleting the dream from the hard drive.
Yeah, same thing happens to me. Most of the time I don't remember my dreams at all but occaisionaly I have a fucking bizzare dream that I remeber for a little bit after I wake up but then forget what it was about shortly after.
If you wake up and say your dream out loud straight away you have a good chance of remembering it. Not sure why I’m replying now but f u niggas

Jokes on us, their "Laser Team" movie is actually the film adaptation of Burnie's dream.
Once I fell asleep while listening to a RT Podcast and in my dream these two people were arguing and when I woke up I went back to listen to the part of the podcast I missed and the arguing in my dream was word for word Gavin and Michael arguing in the podcast!
I've only had one dream about the Achievement Hunter guys. We were in a Let's Play, but it was real life (dream logic). We were in a Metal Gear Solid 3 forest map, and everything else was GTA 5 graphics, but we looked like our real life selves. Michael and I are standing outside a McDonalds (yes, in the middle of the jungle), and Ray comes riding up on a Faggio while wearing a pink helmet. He then disapears and Michale is now standing on top of an orange and brown Bifta yelling get the Bifta! Let's Bift. Gavin then comes driving up in an indistinguishable car doing his yelling thing and blows us up. Michael yells at Gavin then we are magically in another part of the map with Geoff being dragged around (he's hanging on to one handle bar) by a Sanchez doing doughnuts. Then Ray comes riding in on his Faggio, yells Just Blaze, blay blay blay blay blay. and blows us all up with an RPG.

I had a dream once where I realized I was dreaming and kept it to myself, but after a while I suddenly screamed IM DREAMING really loudly and everything in the dream shattered like it was glass and I had this 30 second feeling of just floating in void then I woke up.

I once had a dream where I was in my car with the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson who was singing the national anthem of Great Britain. Then he was judged by Simon Cowell by it as we drove through a rain storm that just cut off as we reached Toys 'R' Us to get my younger brother some birthday presents. Then Michael and Lindsey were in there and I spoke to them just before we got attacked by African business men in suits who tried to illegally marry Coca-Cola bottles to other drinks. It was like a full on robbery style thing. Then me, Michael and Lindsey somehow got pistols in a kids store. We got rid of them because I had a weird red, energy surge which killed the Africans and Illuminati. Then Lindsey sat in the boot of their car and cried so Micheal came out, comforted her and thanked me.
Woke up like "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" I don't always have dreams like that

I had a dream where I fell on the tracks in a subway, then I got run over by a train. Everything in my dream just went red, and it sounded like my ears were ringing. I woke up sweating and I guess as a residual effect of waking up from a dream where I died, I heard a loud thud, and saw black footprints go into my closet. And then I heard another loud thud. Then everything went back to normal

I have a recurring dream about twice a week where I'm in a zombie apocalypse situation with a mixed bag of people from everything I've ever seen, but I can only remember Lee from the Walking Dead game. It's just basic survival stuff, finding ammunition and mourning lost team members, but we were all staying in this weird shop that only sold morphsuits. It happens pretty frequently lately, and I wonder what's fueling it.
I really shouldn't be watching this right before bed.

Dreams are so interesting to talk about cause most of them don't make sense or are so crazy it's hilarious! Some can be kind of awkward, and that's when I'm thankful that no one else knows what went on but me, haha!
That exact same thing that Chris is talking about happens to me every morning if I've been drinking a lot before going to sleep.
I had a dream where I was in a zombie apocalypse with a group of survivors. Everything went relatively normal as far as zombie things are concerned but eventually we all died and the dream didn't end. It ended after a scoreboard came up like when you die in CoD: Zombies.

This is how it works.
1st Gavin is having a dream about 2nd Gavin.
2nd Gavin wakes up from 3rd Gavin's wet dream.
2nd Gavin decides "I'll change the sheets in the morning."
So 2nd Gavin goes to back to sleep.
THEN 2nd Gavin wakes back up with blood everywhere on his bed.
Dream over.

I usually am in the middle of a good dream and it's right about to get to the good part and my body wakes up for some reason (awake still tired as fuck like why would you wake up if you're still tired) and I go back to sleep immediately hoping to get back into the same dream but end up starting a new dream altogether. Every time I have a "good" dream this happens

I have a little mental mind map of my dreams from when I recently had a string of lucid dreams for 3 weeks straight, so whenever I have a lucid dream I would be like "Oh, if I make a turn here then..." and I'd suddenly be in the location of one of my previous dreams and oculd redo that dream with new additions and knowledge expanding upon it like a video game. It was really fun and I still have really vivid dreams, but not as much.
I have recurring dreams where I'm being hunted by Terminators.

Had a dream once where I was going to a convention but for some reason I had Michael's phone number. So I called him and asked if I could come over and see what they were up to there. When I got to the convention there were all these stalls inside one of the old drama classrooms I had back when I was at school, and everyone was drinking beer and everything. But backstage (even though there was no backstage) there was the new office - which had a much more different layout than reality - with Michael and Ray and the rest of AH hanging out in there, but they were somehow blurred out. So Michael welcomed me and Ray just said "hey" despite the fact that he wasn't there anymore in real life. I played Halo with them for about a couple of minutes before being teleported back to the stalls, before rushing backstage again, acting if I was busy and VIP. So they both welcomed me again in the exact same way, and then I asked: "Can I come and work with you guys anytime soon?" And then they said "sure". Then I woke up.
The disappointment I felt when I woke up was excruciating ;'(

i once had a dream months ago (before the unfortunate event)where i was at RT and i was hanging out watching Monty somehow dance and work at the same time. he said some inspirational words that i would prefer not to write down. in the dream i said i couldnt wait to see him again and he said he would be waiting for me.

I was with some rebel group once and we/they were hiding from the law enforcers (in some run down building, idr), but the method of escape that was used was to march out as a high school marching band. I looked down and saw that I was wearing my marching band uniform (I graduated a few years ago), and realized "Holy crap, I'm dreaming!"
I also knew I was dreaming by how stupid the escape was.
This needs to be made into an animated adventure.

I once had a dream where I was swimming under the golden gate bridge and got eaten by a crocodile
I had a dream before where at the beginning, I saw myself and it was me. There was some crazy plotline, and during it I looked on the mirror and I was a dude, and my brain was like "This is normal. Continue.". And, since a few years ago, I can always control nightmares if I don't like the outcome, or just wake myself up. Next time when you have a nightmare, just go, Stop, Refocus, and see if you can change what you don't like/ wake yourself up.

On the Note about reading in your dream. Most people can read in their Dreams, but if they try to read the same thing more than once, it's different words. Your brain knows a book is meant to have words, but it doesn't calculate what it'll say, it just fills in the blanks as needed each time. So odds are if you try to read it more than once, it'll be different things each time.
5:56 I've had similar dreams to Chris except for if I fall asleep with my mouth open and it gets really dry, I have dreams about me constantly trying to find water and I can only find ice and I keep drinking cups of just ice and keep getting thirstiest until I wake up

I had a dream last night about Geoff dying of cancer, and then OG Achievement Hunter getting donuts to mourn him
I have two re-occuring dreams, both of which are nightmares. One just happens again and again in different ways and the other has a story line.
One is that there's some kind of tornado elephant that brings a tornado with it. My mom takes off, sometimes she takes the rest of the family, and leaves me behind. After she leaves I have this free time to explore the neighborhood. If I've been in the house I enter, I'm given a dragon egg and I have to go put it in lava to hatch it and then it turns into a King Kong situation; if I haven't, there's this log book on a table and the rest of the room is white and there's no real telling whether I can walk anywhere aside from the somehow visible path (that looks no different from the rest of the room, but I can see where it is) and then leave through a door behind the logbook table and then I'll wake up.
My other dream is of crashing a car. I've had it since I was seven and it always includes me, my brother, and a girl I used to hang out with (It jumps between one whose shorter than me who is super Christian and the girl who replaced religious girl as my friend). It always starts at the top of the hill and ends at the bottom where my mom used to park her Lebaron before it got totaled (basically, there's a hill going up from that point with houses and stuff. Just like real life). The third part, which I only now got to, is this dude I hung out with when I was really little checking out the car (as he is now) and talking to my older brother about the damages. Meanwhile, I'm just kind of spacing out and listening to the sounds of cars driving at the bottom of the hill. And this is why I don't drive; I never had a fear of driving before I first had this dream, so I'm thinking it's the cause.

Once fell asleep listening to some stuff. Dreamt that I was at my school, and everyone was singing some heavy metal in sync. It was so weird.
did anyone else notice that at 26:17, Gavin pretty much predicted the story base for the video game "The Evil Within"??? O_O a game where people are connected to a stem (a core, "W.W.W.") and they all share and experience this world in their minds that is made up of each person's memories or experiences.

one of my best friends claims he can see what the inside of someone's mind looks like but it has an overlay of where he is at that time so there was this fountain with blood flowing from it and mine was blood with flowers XD
Am I the only one who has trouble SEEING in some dreams? Like, the only way I can see is by tilting my head way back and looking through the tiny little opening of my almost closed eyes. It mostly happens in dreams about places I really know, like my house.
Fuckin every time I realize I'm dreaming and try to start God editing things I'm unable to breath. Coupled with sleep paralysis, which is wholly frightening.
Whenever I can't run in a dream, I grap hold of the grass or whatever I'm running on and use my hands and legs to run. For some reason it always works

I think I have or had, if you can stop having it, sleep apnea I have suffocation dreams sometimes and I used to have the paralyze thing were I couldn't move in the morning when I woke up
+TheJzsteven With the paralysis thing... Is it a case of being literally unable to move or does it feel more like you can't remember *how* to move? I ask because I have the latter and have talked to many people who experience one or the other of those sensations.

The reading thing doesnt help me in my dreams because 90% of my dreams are stress dream about school (Even though its been years since I have been in a classroom) so when I realize I didn't do a worksheet, I try to finish it fast before class starts BUT I CANT READ IT so I panic.
I always have high school dreams where I don't know where my next class is. Or I am trying to leave and I go into the parking and my vehicle isn't where I parked it and it's gone.
Or I have dreams where I'm driving and my brakes barely work.

About the not being able to read while dreaming thing, they're thinking of an out of body experiencing, not dreaming.
The last vivd dream I had and remember was when I was about five? Maybe six? Anyways, I was riding around in a Walmart shopping cart in the basket (not the little chair-thing for babies) and my grandmother was pushing me around. We were near all the juices and yogurts and shit and had stuff in our cart --one of the items being red thumbtacks--when this one Walmart employee in a blue vest walks up. He had this absurdly big nose (bigger than Gavin's) and asked if I was alright, to which I stabbed one of the thumbtacks through his nose.
I had it the second night following and it was so weird. And I don't know why I remember it.
Oh man I know what that is. That probably would have made me wake up in a sweat.

I had a dream where everything from Hishe and Ready Player One (heroes, villains, and all) was with me in an army fighting Bill Cipher alone, but we were all junk food and Bill was a Grand Mac with the name Grimm and I was a gingerbread man with a giant Voltron gummy King Kong with a katana and in my Voltron team was Doc Brown, Batman, Darth Vader, Terminator, Deathstroke, Deadpool, Dipper, Mario, and finally Mickey Mouse himself with Luke's green lightsaber.
I had a dream once where I was just in a kitchen with my family having normal conversations. Whenever I realize I'm dreaming I tend to have panic attacks and really want to wake up. So when I realized I was dreaming I ran toward one of the drawers in the kitchen and pulled out a knife. Right as I was about to stab myself my mom begged for me not to do it. When I eventually stabed myself I didn't wake up instantly. So I was just standing there with a knife in my bloody gut and my mom screaming in horror.
People say that if you die in your dreams you die for real but I die CONSTANTLY in my dreams and I think it's because I have a massive fear of being murdered and I'm terrified of the dark so I freak myself out without meaning to before I go to sleep so that might be why. But I really don't know.

Dreams do seem to relate themselves somewhat to your present mindset so if you're getting yourself worked up, and worried about, your potential dreams before you sleep it's not surprising if that's where your mind then takes you. I am basing this largely on my own experience so I could be talking out of my arse of course.

had a dream last night where rwby was for some reason crossed over woth the little mermaid. it started off with two old people-the lady is a mermaid and the dude is human. they love each other but cant be together because shes a queen but he serves her loyally. then somehow they age backwards and become ruby and sun while blake is sun's evil robot ex girlfriend and neptune is just some random friend of sun's i guess.
anyway, cruella de vill and ursula team up and send scuba divers in dalmation print to get ruby and sun, so they have to run away together to the desert. the problem with that though is that because their ages were reversed they dont love each other anymore, so they're constantly fighting. also robot blake has a dramatic existential crisis and questions why she can feel emotions if she's a machine. later ruby gets super pissed at sun because they were supposed to train to fight together but he abandoned her in the desert, then comes back a week later.

I once had a dream where me and my sister were on the run from the mafia cause we owed them money and we dove off a cliff into water and swam with orcas :P it was weird as hell.

I remember one time and the only time I had a dream where I shot myself with a gun in the head but instead of dying and waking up my head just felt fuzzy then I shot a few more times and it was still fuzzy and blurry
It was weird because I was in an all white room then after the first shot I fell to the floor and could see dark shadowy feet or boots standing in front of me
But I think the reason it went blurry was because it was me in the real world trying to open my eyes
I know my dreams get blurry when I try to open my eyes in the real world because that's happened a few times
It's super weird when that happens because for a moment I can feel that I'm just laying in the bed trying to open my eyes but I'm also in the dream world standing up or doing whatever I was doing
Dreams are crazy and I think mine are even crazier than most people because I ONLY have lucid dreams which is where you can control them because you realize you're dreaming
Sadly I can't fully control them but I can usually control most of it like what I'm doing or where I'm going and I can kind of will things to happen by accident like this morning I was riding a motorcycle at night and some guy was crossing the street with a baseball bat so I thought "I hope he doesn't try to rob me. He's coming at me that's exactly what he's gonna do... Don't do it... Damnit he's gonna do it" and of course he tried to swing the bat at me so I just rode away (that was all in the dream by the way)
